Black women do NOT drench their hair in oil to wear a wig. We may lightly oil our scalps but we are not trying to :A:Be sweating,B :Be greasy,C: Mess up our wigs with oils. Ladies to NOT drench your hair in oil or grease,-clogging your scalp pores and your hair isnt conducive to "protecting"anything. Yours Truly, a wig maker

Thank you for the hair treatment ideas!! When you talked about embracing your grays or not, I have naturally black hair and I have been rocking my grays since I was twenty! I am now almost 31 and a few years ago I changed my hair part, when I did that I realized I have a big gray streak on either side of my part, think Rogue from the X-Men series! My hair stylist said lets embrace the grays, so I did for a few years until I went full red head then blonde. The streak still shows which is fine by me. When my grow out starts to really show my grays are so prominent and every one comments on it thinking I doubled colored my hair with blonde and gray. I just laugh and say “the gray is all natural ask my hairstylist who has been doing my hair for 16 years” I can say from experience embracing grays isn’t always easy there are days when I don’t like the grays but most of the time I love love love my grays, I tell the students i work with that they are Knowledge Sparkles and that when their brain gets full of knowledge from school and life the knowledge has to go somewhere so it goes into your hair...haha..it may not be true but it sure gets a laugh from the other teachers around me.

Hey, A. I wear wigs all the time when I go out because I too is trying to reduce heat on my natural hair . And I do enjoy simple and easy looks that are less time consuming. I enjoyed watching this video

Most of the comments , is Adrienne let him talk, me i didn't even notice anything at all, just realized people just like finding reason to hate, jealousy people!!! she likes talking it her channel, she wanted to explain details about her wig because she was so excited, let her, maybe she just talks much, well that how she is. And yes I have friend like her who likes talking so much and cut people off without realising it, that how some people are, no one is perfect, it's might be her default, in case you people forgot no one is perfect, stop being judges, and by the way it's her channel, she talks as much as she wants , if you guys are not happy move on. She just made a beautiful video about her wig and everyone is missing the point, because the jealousy is so big.

Going to try that root cover up soon. I have 4a/4b curly hair and I haven’t learned how to manage it on a day-to-day basis so it stays in twists and under curly wigs. Although it tend to look like my hair most of the time, I think that Root Cover Up will definitely take it to the next level so 8m excited to try it. Ray is soo sweet and thank you both for sharing these techniques with us
