Many years ago I was visiting a small shop in England. I found a poster that said: "A Home should be so clean, it is healthy. And so dirty, that it is happy". I bought it and gave it to my mom. She LOVED it.

I used to spring clean and Christmas clean. I don't anymore. I cleaned one room at a time from. Head to toe and maintain the clean. I'm getting older now, so I have to do one chore at a time.

First statement right out of the gate... I can't do it all perfect so why bother. Among other things. Girl you helped me so much the other day I had someone coming to inspect my house for foundation and other problems. I started watching you and was motivated to do just a little and it made a difference to me. It is still a level 1+ hoarder house but I put a ding in it. Unfortunately I do not have the children or husband to blame it on any more(kid is grown, husband EX) Thank you! I am hiring a friend to come help me do a deep clean but we may not do it all in one session. Giving myself a little grace which is very hard for me because my mom has always been like you a little every day and stayed on top of it. She even made me feel better the other day by saying "maybe it is because you work full time and some weekends" Trash duty today! Thank you again!!!

Oh my goodness. That last part when you said come in closer I started to ball my eyes out. I do not have kidz in yhe hoise anymore but I do have a husband who will hardly help me if at all,. I have LUPUS and FIBROMYALGIA and have been living with daily pain and operations and all that comes with it. I cannot do it all anymore but love to have a clean house. I always thought it has to be all perfect all the time which put me in a very deep depression for years. Thank you for helping me understand that I need to give myself grace and that I have to live in my house and not for others that may pop in once a blue moon. See because of my illnesses I have no more friend and that is something I have to live with. I see you as a friend and I love you and I love you and your beautiful family. Thank you sweetheart. Yes , yesterday at 3 o’clock our friends called and said they were coming over with an other couple and their dogs. You would have been impressed with how I tore through the house and got a shower in. Hubby helped and got his shower in too! Ha ha😅😂. I imagined you encouraging me. The dog heard the car and knew his friends were coming. His tail was happy as could be. I was relaxed and could enjoy the visit. Thanks again❤❤❤

Good morning sweet friend, I agree I tidy up daily. I deep clean one room every day. This is the way my home is always ready for anyone who might stop over, or if there is an unplanned situation I don’t have to worry about cleaning. I try to cook and bake on the weekend this always ensures that I have prepared dishes if I don’t want to cook. My husband needs a lot of hands on help after his stroke so being organized and planning is a must. I tidy up every evening once I have up set up and in bed. This way I wake up to a neat house. It’s all about keeping on a schedule for me.

I used to think I had to clean the whole house at one time. I like a clean and tidy house. Now, I do something every day but not an overwhelming amount. It really helps. Please continue with these videos as you can.

Hi Cambriea, just wanted to say out of all the Cleaning, House & Decor video's I find you to be the most relatable RU-vidr. You have not changed one bit!!! What I love about you is you keep it real week after week. Other youtubers change as their channel grows and as they make more money they lose common sense and reality. They move houses, change furniture and decor like there's no tomorrow. It becomes so fake and non relatable and to be honest I just don't enjoy watching them anymore. 🥰

I usually clean in 10-20 minutes spurts. I hate feeling overwhelmed with a huge job. ❤I love your videos and your second channel.

Great tips! Perfectionism is a huge struggle for me, and it will absolutely paralyze me. Defining tidy, clean, and deep clean made all the difference for me. Before I get started with chores, I ask myself if I'm going to tidy, clean, or deep clean and make a list. This helps me avoid being overwhelmed. I still struggle with perfectionism, but it's not as difficult as it used to be.

A couple things that have helped me is its ok to not be ok. We are all unique and different, we all live different and unique lives and that is amazing Deleting facebook and Instagram has been so good for my mental health and instead i watch encouraging life videos (like this one) or i got into diy so i watch diy videos and create things. Another thing is think of your stuff as inventory and that you have to mantain, dust/clean, have a spot for each and every item you have so if you have to think do i want to continue to do all the necessary things it takes to keep it or can i donate or toss. ❤😊 Love your videos so much ❤😊

So true, doing the little things keeps you from getting overwhelmed. Decluttering is hard but wonderful at the same time. I started decluttering last July Im so glad I did. Yes! I think just because something works in my home doesn't mean it will work in anyone else's. I think as momma's would really need to learn to give ourselves some grace. Ohhh a girl let's talk about how stunning you look with your hair down! 💜

Lol…I spent all day yesterday decluttering master bedroom, closet, night stands, dressers and master bath. It took hours but feels so good!

I can’t do marathons anymore. Working in little bites. My kids have always been good cleaners, they keep their own homes well kept. Hubs is doing more since I became disabled 7 months ago. Thank you for these tips😘

Great advice! My favorite tips are progress over perfection especially with ditching the need for everything to be pinterest worthy and that I don't need to race anybody. This applies to cleaning and to other areas in life for me too so thank you!

Thanks for this video Cambria! I would love more ideas on ways to teach young kids how to clean and how to foster this as they grow. I also have a 3 year old who is helpful but I'd love a whole video on age appropriate ways for kids to help from 0 to 18.

Dear Cambriea, It has taken me nearly 3 years to organise my house ! Moved in 3 years ago in June and after renovating the house I got on to declutterring, then organising, I feel I have just about cracked it. My husband goes mad because he keeps saying “Why do you move everything every five minutes”!!He calls it shuffling shoe boxes around !🤣 Still like I say my house is so much better to keep clean now. I got rid of so much stuff! I wish I remembered who said this, but its been a game changer for me in all aspects of life/work/hobbies..... "Don't put it down, put it away." I've struggled with ADHD for the majority of my ADULT life (when I've had to rely on myself, not my parents). This mantra has helped me so much! I'll get stuck in a mental loop and then find myself holding something, and remember to put it away, and that helps get me back on track. I think applying the "progress not perfection" to this is going to be the combo I need for success. Even if it's a five minute task of clearing off the kitchen table and putting stuff where they belong or taking the extra minute to find a home for it. It will be progress that will help with my mental clarity! Always love your videos! I've been MIA from yt for a long while now, but seeing this is getting me back on track for remembering to keep up on my home and finding my motivation with this community!! Thank you!

My house is tidy most of the time. Clean? Noooo. We had a friend come over yesterday. He said he always noticed how clean our house is. Oh noooo. He is thinking “tidy”. Clean is harder to do. 😂 he didn’t see my stove or oven!!!!
