SecuDoom is a modification made by RedXone in the prototype stage and unfortunately rather abandoned, this is a modification where we can pilot a quite powerful mech BUT it has multiple drawbacks. First, to summon the mech to the battlefield you must use a summon mechapickup command in the console, then it will be spawned in front of your use and all you need to do is just to use it. The Mech is slower than Doomguy on foot but is also a really powerful vehicle with 6 different weapons to use, Nightvision and Zoom to aim. Keep in mind that all of your weapons can overheat, and once it happens you are offline for a while till batteries are recharged so avoid this dangerous situation at all cost! Weapons can be upgraded by picking up a weapon from the ground (you upgrade Missile Launcher by picking up... Rocket Launcher, Lasers by Plasma Rifle etc. etc) but some of them cannot be upgraded like Flamethrower or Gauss Cannon. First weapon is a Missile Launcher salvo, pretty powerful when upgraded to the max, you fire 8+ missiles in one volley, but they are slow and can be quite not so accurate. Second weapon is an upgradable Twin Autocannon, standard projectile explosive weapon, strong against smaller enemies but pretty mediocre against higher tiers. Then you have the Gauss Cannons an extremely powerful and piercing weapon that hits anything in its line of fire, but be warned because it quickly overheats you Mech and cannot be used too long. Fourth weapon are twin Laser Cannons, quick firing hitscan weaponry that deals good damage against anything and does not overheat so fast. Fifth weapon are the twin Vulcan Cannons, their main advantage is fast rate of fire with damage and slow overheating but the main drawback is very bad accuracy, weapon good for groups of weaker enemies. The last weapon are twin Flamethrowers, good choice to cover a group of smaller to medium enemies, of course range of this weapon is the worst from these available.
Minus for no "reactor online, weapons online, sensors online, all systems nominal" at the start of the level. The mechanics are ported from the old Mechwarrior series. 1x LRM 10(?), 2x AC10(?), 2x medium pulse laser, 2x rotary MG, 2x Gauss Rifles and a flamer. Damn, this mech is a monster.
so... even with clan tech... 3.5 tons, 20 tons, 4 tons, 1 ton, 24 tons, and 1 ton... so weapon tonnage does over take the assault mechs. and this isn't even including the tons extra for ammo and other items
@@mightypancake2211 and all that in an obvious light mech chassis! This is a level of epicness only Doomguy is capable of. The engine is probably 100% Rage.
This is ABSOLUTELY the weapons treatment that the Doom soldier has ALWAYS needed! The ONLY thing missing is that the demons need MORE explosive and destructive gibbing effects such as in containment area. The standard demon death effects aren't cutting it.
the view bobbing, cockpit and hud are quite good, could have been the birth of a doom mech mod subgenre. the zombiemen and demons could be resprited as troops while the cyberdemon and spider mastermind are big enough to be resprited as enemy mechs/tanks
Mechwarrior 3. The Bitchin' Betty computer voice files in this are from Mech Warrior 3 and 4. She sounds British in Mech Warrior 2 and it's expansion packs.
This is what everyone wanted but got ultimately denied in Eternal. Seriously they teased you with these still-lifes of old titanic mechs now laying in the ruins of battlefields which you flat out read were piloted by your warrior caste... and even seemingly have a busted up one in your hub base just begging to be repaired and powered up for some final showdown. But it never freaking happens. The absolute cuckery of it all is obscene.

I would have to go with a brutal legend rts mix with fps like your the doom slayer but you lead humans and the sentals on a horad style charge at hell and the makers that would be awesome.
I wonder if RedXone was trying to make a MechWarrior (BattleTech) game in GZDoom, but sadly abandoned it due to the fact that it's either a tremendous amount of work (more than most people know or want to think) or life just got in the way as usual.
