My 2007 Acura TL is doing the same thing.Crank but no start. And now the battery did just like yours in the beginning,it was fine before.I think it's dead now.But I've never noticed or checked the green key flashing thing.Ima try this. Great video! 👍 Greetings from Mexico
No need for parts if you by pass immobilizer with break rest method also know as break code. Use your vin and registration + maybe driver License and call honda parts support. They will give you the code if not you could alternatively pound the breaks in the rest mode only works sometimes. Acura break code method 01-07 mdx rdx tl ect.
Everybody that has an issue with security shutdown 1st Try putting the actual key in the door and lock and unlock, do it a few times then get in and start it if it doesn’t start lock the car from the door lock on the door and try and start with key, also some cars you put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off like 7times in a row real fast and resets, not sure on acura
I know this video is old but 07 acura tl type s cranking but no start w flashing green key & anti theft light not going off with engine running here. Going to try this next but does the immobilizer have to be reprogrammed?
I have. 1997 Acura TL I don’t think is had a key reader but I had an issue where I had a dead battery from leaving my lights on then I jumped it and I was low on gas so I went to gas station around the corner put in a few gallons when I was pumping I left it running but I had to put something to hold the throttle at a steady idle cause it was surging and trying to stall I was thinking it was the battery or connection loose but I drove it charged up battery then later or the next day I got in my car and it wouldn’t start but it cranked, I thought maybe I was outta gas cause there wasn’t much in there so I put in some gas and same thing then I’m thinking it was fuel pump or EFI issue getting the gas then I thought maybe it was the security feature but no flashing light or check engine so I got out took the key locked the door with the key then unlocked it and got in and the car started, but the next day I went started car I didn’t warm it up very long but I was idle driving in the parking lot where’d I was and it just stalled and same thing wouldn’t start so I did the same thing it didn’t start then I locked the door from the inside and it worked. Hopefully no more of that but it may become an issue if anybody knows what’s up and knows what I should do cause I don’t want to get stuck one day where the key in the door and the locking unlocking thing does not work anymore
Norte Warrior if the theft light is blinking the vehicle will crank, but will not start.. focus on security light.. put a scanner on it to pull codes..
@@HayesMobileAutoRepair thanks for reply... So car throws no code, key light blinks has no spark just wondering how Hondas immobilizer system works. if it actually disables ignition system.
