I’m confused about whether you’re a Buddhist or a Christian. You can’t be both. Practicing meditation doesn’t make someone Buddhist. Just curious because I just watched one of your other videos where you said some thing about Christianity and being influenced by it or something.

You Can Absolutely be both! In Buddhism there are no religious laws, commandments and religious punishments such as other religions therefore Buddism is more of a way of living! I come from a family of Buddists who are catholics! So you 💯 can! You can believe and be beyond what society tells you!

@@fayenash2152 have you ever seen a truth table in math ? Or studied the first principles of logic? They are the foundation of all rational thought and every academic discipline including but not limited to philosophy. Equal opposites cannot both be true. Take a look at a basic chart regarding what all 8 worldviews claim about reality regarding the nature of God, humanity, etc. Buddhism is not a worldview it is a religion within a worldview. Easiest to just look at the major worldviews in this manner. I’m not talking out my behind here. Do some research on the things I mentioned before assuming I don’t know what I am talking about. SURE you can adopt different PRACTICES from a variety of religions but you cannot ultimately believe and follow mutually exclusive truth claims!!!! The nature of “God” is drastically different in pantheism from what God is in theism. Pantheist claim that God is an INANIMATE FORCE! Not a PERSONAL GOD. You cannot believe BOTH! But I would like to hear what Alex has to say on this, as he is the one influencing thousands or more people with what he says. I have said enough to others in this thread. Do the research before speaking on things which you do not know. That is why he is making videos - because he does research! Those are the people I want to engage with when I ask these questions.
