When I was incarcerated Ligoneer was there with books, a subscription to Tabletalk and personal correspondence from the Prison Ministry team. It has had lasting effects on myself and many others who benefited from the materials I received.
Amazing video. Being an xconvict myself I really relate to this. Jesus and the gospel truly saved me. I’m 5 years clean of all substances now and continue to walk with Christ through the spirit daily
I haven't seen my son in five years. He's been incarcerated for 15. He'll be home in April. God's Word and Ligonier is all I need. I pray for all incarcerated every day. By your video, I will be able to put faces into my prayers. Ligonier does much more than teach. They can touch your very soul. Thank you for everything! Soli Deo Gloria!
I’m from Scotland and it was when I was in Prison that I heard The Gospel for the first time, thanks to the faithful Volunteers from Prison Fellowship who would come in faithfully every Wednesday Evening. They would put on a study or a testimony evening along with praise and worship. This is where Christ rescued me, He came to seek and to save that which was Lost. I will continue to keep Ligonier prison ministry in my prayers, God is using them mightily for the advancement of His Kingdom, and to make His Son known, even behind the walls of a prison.🙏🏻🙏🏻
We were all prisoners before Christ set us free. The Lord looked at my corpse of a spirit and called it to life. I have small moments as an ICU nurse where I see totally broken drug addicts, covered in feces, unable to stop moving and yelling out nonsense, and I can't help but think how pathetic they are. I don't hate them, but in my frustrations with them I feel like they're not worth the trouble. In those moments I feel eternal shame. That if I could see my own sin as God sees it (sans the redeeming love of Jesus Christ) I would look every bit as wretched as these people I'm judging. God bless this prison ministry. These men and women need the gospel as much as we all do.
For several years, my husband and I were part of a ministry team which visited prisons in Indiana. These were some of the best experiences of our lives.
Can you please share out the ministry that does this, me and my wife are doing it on our own in Sacramento, we would like to know other ministries to learn from.❤
This is very inspiring. I am a former gang member who got saved and it’s such a beautiful thing to see other thugs, gangstas and criminals get saved too.
Bless the Lord! Powerful testimony! The anointing breaks the yoke! Was thinking RC would have enjoyed this! Great work, be encouraged, & may the Lord bless u more
Amen. Jesus never loved us according to our achievements. (Eccl.4:4) He loves us where we are. He shows no favoritism. Thank you for this awesome post. Lives renewed! Second chances. Glory to God.
Amen. We all need Jesus Christ Lord and savior king of kings! He lived the perfect life, laid down His perfect life for our sins, and was resurrected, lives today and forever more! Amen All Glory be to God!!!

So blessed to hear these testimonies. I am thinking to write a few outstanding testimonies of different inmates who got saved in prisons, so other inmates in different prisons throughout the world can come to know about transforming love of Christ. Can you suggest some names?
My dad spent my whole life in prison and the hardest part of evangelizing him was convincing him that he can be forgiven. He couldn't comprehend such grace and unfortunately he took his life due to his inability to embrace God's grace 😣 the prison population truly need to hear the hope that is in Christ.
All of humanity, since Adam, have been both perpetrators and victims. Perpetrators by the sins we commit. Victims in that we are born in sin as the decendants of Adam, who himself was a victim of the deception of Satan.
There are people outside the prison who have no access to biblical teaching, to biblical preaching, or to biblical churches. Most Churches and preachers teach false doctrine. TBT
the only chance our brother's here in prison have is in CHRIST and CHRIST Alone. Remember the thief besides CHRIST on the cross, his destructive life took him to the cross, but his Faith in CHRIST guarenteed him Eternal Life.
I come from 6 straight generations of Pastors, I was a drug dealer gang member and my wife brought the only person that loved me, my dad who was a Pastor. In Corcoran Prison early 90’s called gladiator school I came back to God and 30 years later I’m going back into Prisons to bring the Love of our Messiah back to inmates like my dad did to me!!!
I've never been in jail. But I know I'm no better than any of these men, my brothers in Christ. It is not our works that save us, nor do they condemn us, because of Jesus, precious Jesus.
God bless this ministry today and always 🙏🏾 Praying for all of God’s creation that we may draw nearer to the One Triune God and allow Jehovah Jireh to show us His truth✝️💟🕊️
Sorry, but I'm only 53 seconds in and already seeing problems: :20 A lot of times people are one step away from where we are and they don't realize that one bad mistake you know could land you where we are." Wrong. Most people go through their whole lives without committing some violent crime that lands them in prison. :53 "Catching a murder case" - what? He didn't "catch" a murder case. He admitted to MURDERING someone. Yes, the gospel is for everyone. But it requires REPENTANCE. I hope this video addresses that. So far, these 2 men are painting themselves as victims. I don't go for that. Neither does the gospel.
"Catching a case" is simply prison talk for, "I committed another crime." It is not akin to "I caught a cold", although I know it can sound like that to others.
