It is an engine of Chinese origin, with a beautiful finish, plus a fabulous speed. I intend in the future to make an engine similar to this one, but with some modifications, for better performance, especially when working with an alcohol lamp.
This engine has a torque less than a Stirling, but a nice speed and a lovely sound. I found it incredible, that even overheating that way, for lack of a cooling system, the piston does not lock inside the cylinder, as it was common to watch the first engines of this type in You tube a few years ago.
One time, it is when storing the engine, the cylinder oxidizes and locks the piston, so I recommend that you do not want to use it for a long time, before a spray inside the cylinder with de-inking spray, so as not to rust the cylinder.
The piston seal is good, but far from acceptable for a Stirling engine, but the possible explanation should be the swelling accentuated by the high temperatures that the engine strikes.
I also had to remove an aluminum elongator, which was on the wick of the lamp, to reduce the flame height, significantly improving engine performance with the lamp.
The piston's misalignment with the valve is 45 degrees.
Another test performed, not demonstrated in the video due to lack of structure, I changed the angle lag between the piston and the valve, from 45 degrees to 30 degrees, the motor went from 1600 rpm to 2000 rpm using the portable torch as a heat source , already with the lamp, the rotation was maintained at 1200 rpm, possibly limited by the fire.
