I Run a See-through Rotary (Wankel) engine and Film it in Slow Motion so we can see how the combustion process works, aka Wankel Rotary engine.
here you can also see what is inside of a rotary engine (Wankel), while it's running in full view to see just visually witness how a combustion process differs from the piston engine counterpart.
First ever See Through Rotary Engine Series on RU-vid or anywhere in the world.
Have you ever wondered how a Wankel engine works differently from a conventional piston engine then you're watching The Right video, because with my see-through angle engine you can see inside the combustion chamber as the engine is running while I film it with high speed cameras to show you how the Wankel combustion process works.
This is the first episode of the see-through rotary engine series and the second season of The see-through engine series.
So make sure to go to the playlist tag and check out the entire series of see-through Engine videos, the second season starts soon.

Yes, it is a shame that so much 'burnt' fuel is wasted. We can no longer accept such pollutants in today's world. But several experimenters have found solutions to this problem so the engine may have a future yet as a classic and compact, lightweight power-plant.
@yamaha94O

Full size rotory engines found in the rx sereis of cars are the same way. They're super prone to forward firing due to incomplete combustion and the unburnt fule igniting in the hot exhaust. Terrible for the environment. But super cool. Lol. I drove a second gen rx7 before. Super fun car. Didn't end up buying in cause the wireing for the lights and everything to make it road legal was shot. Super fun car tho. Braaaaaapp! POP! POP! POP! BRAAAAAAAAPP!

@@jimparr01Utube I have to add that in a way you're right though: that tiny engine does in fact demonstrate a fundamental flaw in wankels, it just does it in a far too exaggerated way. The situation isn't anywhere near that bad, but the same flaws do nevertheless exist. I personally believe that wankels may never become 'fixed' of their flaws, but we have naturally not seen all potential improvements so it's impossible to know. Sort of how 2-strokes were possible to turn into clean-burning things with slight changes (mainly direct injection and removing the oil from the fuel).

Deere2154D 12 years ago Mazda was running 3-rotor powered RX8 tube-frame chassis cars in Grand American sports car racing(now merged with IMSA) that was not only wooping V8s & Flat 6s with shear power it had was also killing the piston the engines on the reliability front while still setting up a fire show. @@Deere2154D Do you have any objections to 2 stroke dirt bikes? I would say you might rebuild the top end many times in time but never have to do that on a 4 stroke. Most every one who complains about rotaries has never had first hand experience. I think they are far easier to remove and rebuild than a subaru.

Punchy LightBeer how’s it holding up to boost?
@r1yamahamini
@r1yamahamini 6 лет назад
Iv'e been through about 8 engines in 8 years, but that was because of the dodgy workshops (I tryed 3) not building it right. Now over the last 2 years Iv'e redone everything and it's running great:) - long story..see my channel.. Iv'e run up to 20 psi recently but I have read the stock Renesis can't flow more than that besides the detonation risk with it's 10:1 compression. My stock ( 5000km {3100miles} ) short block is running fine on 17 psi but that is mostly because of the E85 not my shit tuning ability.
@Tb0n3
@Tb0n3 6 лет назад
Doesn't the RX7 engine survive boost much better? The RX7 ports are on the circumference instead of on the front/back on the RX8 if I recall correctly. Do you go through many APEX SEALS?
@lyokss
@lyokss 6 лет назад
Tb0n3 I was told that if you mix a little 2-cycle oil in your fuel then it will increase the lifespan of the apex seals. It makes sense if you think about it and digging around the internet it appears to work.
