I can relate in being vulnerable to be seen trying . I’m going back to school after 12 plus years to pursue nutrition . I’m over weight and still on my own health journey but I want to try . I really want to help others pursue good health not only physically but emotionally and spiritually . Your decision to “go for it “ despite your insecurities and challenges Is inspiring . You are on to something with the combined health coaching. If I could talk to one person about all of it instead of a doctor, therapist, nutritionist, pastor, etc., that would be awesome. Good luck with school and your own health journey! Going through it yourself will help you be able to relate to clients...so don't beat your self up about it, it can be an asset!
I TOTALLY agree! I’ve realized so much of my weight is emotional weight and much how I treat my physical is outward reflection how the state of my soul is . Soooo many layers to this ! 😅 thank you for the encouragement . I really do believe in the power of food to heal but it’s a just a part of a bigger picture . I would love to see us look at health differently in this country especially for minorities because that is yet again another layer of healing that needs attention.
