Masha Allah. It is very very true that Madeena is the most lovable place in the world. I really wish to sit in the masjid of Prophet sallallahu alaiwasallam. I visited 4 times there, but when I back from Madeena, really the tears shed from eyes. :( . Oh Allah bless all the Muslims to visit Madeena. Aameen.

As a revert I would love it if there was more of a community for those of us who embrace Islam. Many Muslims have offered prayers for me. But only once or twice have I been invited over to someone’s home. Allah forgive me for saying this but it is the truth.

Jkz for your efforts brother. I had never really listen to the seerah but your talk has done nothing but increased my love for our prophet Muhammed (pbuh). The more I listen the more I want to listen. I have to say you can connect to the to the young Muslims of the west which is why I really enjoy your compilation. Episode 32 Notes: Life in Medina The Muhajirun when the first came to Medina, did not love it and actually were very homesick of Makkah. This led the Prophet SAW to make a special dua for the Muhajirun to love Makkah and over time this dua came true. The Ansar were incredibly generous to the Muhajirun such as allowing them to work and live with them. The Prophet SAW also created a brotherly bond between the Muhajirun and the Ansar by pairing one Ansar with one Muhajir. This brotherly bond was to the extent that if one of them died, the other would gain the inheritance. Every single male Muhajir was paired with an Ansari and they took these parings seriously. The Ansar were so good to the Muhajirun, that the Muhajirun were worried that they may lose their good deeds. Fun Trivia fact: After the Battle of Badr, Allah SWT abrogated the Muhajirun from being allowed to inherit from the Ansar because inheritance is strictly for families. Fun Trivia fact: The concept of pairing Muhajir and Ansar together wasn’t limited to early Medinan period. It occurred throughout the life of the Prophet SAW and it is a neglected Sunnah in modern days. Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW said that a sign of Eman is one who loves the Ansar. Whereas a sign of hypocrisy is one who hates them. Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW gave the Ansar an unprecedented level of praise, to the extent that the Prophet SAW stated that “were it not for my lineage, I would have viewed myself as an Ansari”. ========================================================== Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series: Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series. Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it. You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes. One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. The Prophet (pbuh) established a bond of brotherhood between Salman and Abu Darda. Salman paid a visit to Abu ad-Darda and found Um Ad-Darda' dressed in shabby clothes (worn clothes) and asked her why she was in that state.?" She replied, "Your brother, Abu Ad-Darda is not interested in the luxuries of this world. In the meantime Abu Ad-Darda came and prepared a meal for him (Salman), and said to him, "(Please) eat for I am fasting." Salman said, "I am not going to eat, unless you eat. So Abu Ad- Darda ate. A correction in this lecture!!! Sheik said um Ad Darda said he isn't in a need of woman. But the actual Hadith is as it states above.
