After getting in touch with Stone Age Gamer, they were able to provide a great troubleshooting tip that helped me fix the issue I was having with my Sega 32X and my Mega Everdrive. The fix was a very simple oversight.
Thanks!! A question, the problem is the same if you disconected the audio jack? For example, you have the megadrive cd without the power cable and the audio Jack IS unplugged, but the megadrive and mega cd is connected by the slot, is the same problem?
Have you tried using a Scart cable and a HDMI scaler to fix your jail bar issue? The XRGB Mini Framemeister was the best scaler on the market but is recently now out of production. The $20-$30 eBay/Amazon Scart to HDMI scalers are "ok" but eventually pissed me off due to ghosting and shimmering effects and the fact that you couldn't change it from widescreen to 4:3. Anyways great video man thanks for the heads up, I wonder if maybe using a slightly more powerful power supply with the Everdrive and 32x would also fix the not enough power issue.
Adam Cappetti I recently was able to test out my set up using an OSSC, but I would get the same results. I don't think it's a capacitor issue, nor the cables I was using at the time. I will agree that it might have been the power supply. But it's fine. I've recently gotten a hold of a solid PVM and it looks amazing on it.
Hi, got the same jailbar issues here with 32x plugged in. Same config (jap md1 + mcd1 + 32x + everdrive + rgbs cable), got the pin of the vdp cut, but still got those jailbars even with ossc or xrgb, do you figure it out ?
