I for some reason really like the nose thing sonic does at 16:35, it feels so smooth and attitude-fitting for sonic.

This story and writing is SO tight. Notice how at 14:46 when the lady says "we're receiving an incoming signal from our agent" It was clearly a reference to Rouge which is dope cause that was not revealed till final story arc and you would miss it (obviously) on first play thru

I don't care how dated you think this game is. It's still the peak of the dreamcast era. Such a badass ride throughout the whole game, choosing your level of speed (Sonic-high, tails, medium, knux, low),, amazing music, a thought-provoking and thematic plot, Extremely replayable even by todays standards. Yea, the age shows, but if you're one to compare this to 06, you're SEVERELY misguided. Not wrong, not dumb, misguided.

The english voice actors for this game actually did a fantastic job, its just a shame they couldnt adjust the animations to match their lines

This game IMO has the best iteration of Dr. Eggman in almost any sonic game. He is the most believable as a character and he is an honest threat to the sonic team. Not just something we expect them to beat because they always do. This is one of the few times where you almost didn't know who was going to win. Sega needs to get back to making Dr. Eggman And all their villains like that. And not just threatening but believable multi-faceted characters.

Wow, the Dreamcast version actually make them look like they’re emotive! I mean, their closed mouths are visible, Sonic can be seen grinning before falling down the helicopter, etc.

I never noticed that when Sonic jumps out of the helicopter, he briefly has his classic shoes on before suddenly switching to his Soap shoes.

This simply so much well done and amazing.. It’s the most incredible story in a Sonic game and a great story within a lot of games out there! Incredible dialogs, scenes filled action, not to talk about the script which in unbelievable great! Please SEGA. Give us something on THAT level as a 30th Sonic Anniversary!

4:15 Doesn't Rouge scream earlier in the GameCube version, when the Master Emerald actually breaks? Makes more sense. Edit: Actually, some of the dialogue appears to be missing in the GameCube version as well; little things like gasps of surprise, that sort of thing. And the entire bit with Sonic wondering if he can use the fake Chaos Emerald for Chaos Control.
