Konami on the Genesis/Megadrive is the definition of "mixed bag". Their Genesis games run the gamut from "This is awful" to "This isn't bad, for a cut down version" to "This is genuinely great and stands on it's own merits!"
Loved Konami in the 16-bit days where there would make exclusive games for every series for both consoles even Sparkster despite the same name is a totally different game on both systems. Now all they seem to release is a new PES each year a Metal Gear every few and now a Bomberman game or two since they own all Hudonsoft ips that they won't do anything with either.
If you ask: "which console has the better konami treatment, snes or genesis?" I will maybe say that the Sega Genesis because konami did really well for pushing the console to it's limitsand did some great quality and visuals(ex: contra hard corps, rocket knight adventures, etc...) But konami did also some games push the snes hardware to the limit(ex: The ganbare goemon series, tmnt turtles in time, etc...) Just an opinion, OK? Please don't hate me.
