I remember getting that Sega Genesis flashback for Christmas from my uncle a few years back because he wanted me to experience the classic Sonic games (spoiler alert) I didn't beat Green Hill Act 3, Chemical Plant Act 2, and Mushroom Hill Act 2. Damn, that's how the soundtrack sounded on it? I could've sworn they sounded normal, like the Sonic 2 mobile port I got a year ago, but wow, that's definitely not a Sonic soundtrack

Honestly I feel that I don't care about SEGA or any of the shit they do now, I still and always love Sonic and it will always be one of my favorite videogame franchises but ever since Sonic Colors SEGA keeps going on making money by the cheapskate way (cause that's what they are now) and releasing bad and mediocre games and I'm getting sick of that, to the point to just not care anymore.

I had one of those AtGames SEGA Genesis consoles and sound quality is so awful and the controller felt weird to me sometimes. I wish I had the original Genesis.

My friend has one of those AtGames Genesis things. He never even uses it.

He may not have the classy suit and tie but the passionate rant was still fire af👌👌👌 great video man. I got a portable AtGames genesis player for Christmas one year and... I was very disappointed (You still look great without the formal attire btw 😉)

I actually own one of these handhelds the white one. The music was earrape and I always hear ringing in my ears after playing it. It's made out of damn plastic. The dumbest decision made for the handheld was that there is a headphone set on the back so if you love earrape then this is for you due to its lazy techonolgy. Sega was cabalble of porting games to other handhelds like the ds and 3ds for a few sonic games. I feel that now Sega is lazy and doesn't care for what others think or feel

I make up for being stuck with the AtG portable by using the Neto bootloader, made by a Portuguese hacker after TecToy of all companies (they're normally very good at what they do) licensed the AtG portable device without fixing a damn thing about the sound. So the bootloader fixes it for them (apparently a processor runs at the wrong clock speed) when run as a game from the SD card slot.

Ironically, AtGames was the first way I played Sonic 1 and 2, but I didn't know it was bad because I had nothing to compare it to. Now I know better.

If they failed to make the genesis like 3 or 4 times, why are they trying it again if it's going to be bad, also I wish it was old music too, Message to Sega: Look, you made Sonic strong enough to be able to jump over huge obstacles, but that's a video game, it's not real, so don't try to jump and make things easier for yourself when it is a risky move and your reputation can be f#$%ed more than it probably was when Forces came out(bad comparison, I get it)

I remember when I got an AtGames portable Genesis console and the sound was completely fucked up. One day it would only work when the *PORTABLE* Genesis is plugged up to a wall... When I saw that green logo again, I knew something bad happened and the fact that SEGA is letting it into the hands of AtGames again disappoints me badly.
