The only reason I had a cellphone mount when I had a scooter was because I wanted a big screen speedo so I did not need to take my eyes off the road/sidewalk. Your scooter already has that. My screen time otherwise is minimal - I work on a computer all day so the last thing I want to be staring at say while at the pub is a laptop or phone :)
That’s great to hear! It’s honestly kind of disturbing to notice everyone mindlessly distracted by their phones now that I’m not using mine… it’s a dystopian kind of feeling… I’m sure you’ve noticed the same!
I hear you mate, mobile phones as they call em' here in Australia 🇦🇺 they are a menace and seriously a disease in itself that one can disconnect from the joys in life because of it. Currently I am tossing up between an iPhone 13 mini or new Samsung z flip 4 to go bare minimalist approach. I couldn't completely disconnect but I do go out with just my smart watch and it does the job for what you describe in your Apple Watch. I am going to follow suit and just leave the phone at home and wear my Samsung Watch and instead of looking at content whilst waiting at the bus stop etc I am going to take a BOOK yes a book ! and just read in the sunshine. You've inspired me mate, including to finally unpack my GT1 and go ride (Without my smartphone)

Isn't there an accessory bar that can be installed on this thing so you can mount your phone and extra lights onto it? I've looked and can't find it. the Proprietary handlebar kinda a deal breaker.
@@DrBernieBabylon Thanks for reply 👍 I did my research Segway GT2 rating is IP54 it's good for light rains. The one I have is Taur electric scooter it's a waterproof IP55. Because rains do come it's very important for me to get waterproof scooter. Also it's fun on the rainy days. What do you think of Taur scooter?
