Does sound quality depend only on speakers or the head unit matters too ? I believe the OEMs are high quality head units. But they are old RCD 320 :( . Can it be replaced with a modern android unit that is cheap.
Sound quality depends on both. Yes the RCD320 can be replaced with an android unit as shown in this video. The very cheap android units only have 1GB of RAM and crash, freeze and are generally unstable. Don't go less than 2GB.
I don't know. If you're interested in the Seicane head unit you email a photo of your dash and they'll tell you. If your Polo is the 6R model I'd take a guess it will fit but you should check with Seicane. Scott
Scott Elliott thanks for the reply. I was asking because the rcd210 radio that comes with the polo is a single DIN radio but I want to fit in a double din radio
@@AhsanZProductionS When I look at the images there's a tray/storage holder underneath so it appears there's a DIN2 opening. Pull the trim off and have a look.
