Seiko Dial Face-Off! Comparing 3 different dial materials | SPB293J1 

SARX029 is the better watch, released in 2016. I have had it since early 2020 from Japan. Seiko don't think the newer watches are better they just slightly upgraded the movement and doubled the prices in AUD from the SARX029 which retailed in Melbourne for $1,350 with the 6R15 to the new close but uglier SPB405 which is $2,600 with the 6R35 or the more boring SJE081 for $5,950 with the 6L35. The differences you are paying for is the Presage range price increases over time from 2016 to 2023 and the latter you are paying for the range increase over time but for the actual upgraded movement. Porcelain dials can only be appreciated in person. My AD had one and they are really stunning. A lot of people say that's too much for a Seiko but that watch would be 50% to 100% more if Longines or Omega was on the dial. People keep knocking Seiko for price hikes but their higher end stuff still is a good value compared to Swiss brands

Very nice looking watches, seeing prices at $1000-$1700 US dollars. There a gorgeous looking limited edition presage SPB363 that I like.

These are absolutely in my next line up of watches to purchase. I will own a porcelain dial from seiko. They have been just an amazing overall brand. Time abd time again. Pun intended
