The third party straps paired with the Willard in the video were straps I had at the time. They weren't originally purchased for the Willard. I merely wanted to try them out. Stop bitching about it or better yet worry about your own damn watch-strap pairings.
Although some straps look better than others, I think all straps are acceptable. Thanks for showing us. Do you find the Willard to large for your wrist ?
Not at all. Last time i checked I think my wrist was at about 6.5inches in diameter and I have no problem with the willard's 42.7mm case as the lug to lug is quite short anyway. The lugs don't stretch past either side of my wrist. It just looks bigger when viewed through a camera (wearer's POV.) If it's viewed from another person's perspective, the whole watch can look small on the wrist.
What a nice watch. Are you still satisfied with it? I'm also considering this watch. It has sort of become my grail watch, so I'm putting some money aside for it. I also have a 6.5" wrist. BTW, it really pairs nicely with the greenish leather strap. :)
Initially, I was quite smitten with it even vowing to be a one watch guy. Over time though, being a watch enthusiast, my eyes and interest have moved away from the 237 despite having lusted for it for a few months before acquiring it. But yeah it's a great watch, the dial is just superb especially under good lighting be it sunlight or something strong indoors. I feel like I should get an uncle seiko bracelet for it just so it could feel brand new or different.
Looks great but oversized on your wrist. Please don’t film yourself with a mobile phone while driving, that reflects badly on you as a driver. I say this after having been rammed of the road by a distracted phone user. Multitasking with your device on the highway is unsocial and dangerous to everyone.
