If I were to buy a chronograph, I would get the Breitling Premier B01. The pushers don't stick out. Verticle clutch, column wheel. 70 hour power reserve. 100 meter water resistant. Nice bracelet. A couple of thousand more on Chrono24, than the Seiko or get 20% off at your AD. Much better watch than the Seiko. I never liked Breitlings, but this watch with that great B01 movement intrigues me.
I have this watch. Very beatriful finishing and quality. But yes micro adjustment i need badly no matter how hard i tried to find perfect fit it didnt work. Very losy wairing watch , instead of tight ;( and my watch running -6 sec slow daily not bad but i would expect better accuracy from such high grade movement. My wrist size 7.5” and it doesnt looks so thick on wrist. U can easily waer .. it definitely eyes catch watch
My Omega Speedmaster is a lot thinner and looks extremely thin on the wrist. Most elegant. Also it has screw links and micro adjust. You can pick it up on the used market for less than this oversized inadequate Seiko. It also weighs 160 grams and is 2 seconds a day. What were Seiko thinking?
No micro adjust? $3200? Hard pass. There are so many other auto chronos in this price point that are more interesting to enjoy than this one. Font get me wrong. I love Seiko. Seiko got me into the hobby. Before they lost their mind on their pricing. This one is a great example of how overpriced Seiko is in 2023. I am sure the movement is the bees knees. IMHO there is nothing about it that is unique or striking about it. If you like it than awesome.
@@drbobsnightmare2521 nah..check Sinn. Check Tissot and Hamilton, maybe even Longines. Those are just examples. The PRX chrono even has a 12h chrono, is easily found at 1.5k (pretty much half of this Ssiko) and isnt as thick. Plus it looks better to me (subjective, of course).
I'm really worn out on Seiko's pricing. At base level, when they do a reissue of say, The Willard, and charge what they do, it's a tough pill to swallow. That much for a reissue of a TOOL WATCH. And don't even start with the limited edition stuff at 5k+. I get it, they want to go upmarket, but there needs to be a corner of their market that is still catered to with purpose instead of goddamn greed.
@@RandomRobReviewsI did, 3 times lol. No mention of the hand assembled movement or the vertical clutch and column wheel. These components are notoriously difficult to produce and are expensive, which is why this type of chronograph is seen only in time pieces in the range of 4-5k and above.

Odd that nobody outside a few Swiss brands has been able to make an automatic chronograph movement that isn't painfully thick. Watches always end up 15-17 mm in height; like this one.
Seiko have lost their damn minds, you can literally buy a Speedmaster Racing with a date complication right now for that things MSRP. With those specs, I'd expect $1,500 max, and I still wouldn't buy it.
Unless you're comparing a used, decade-old Speedmaster Racing to this Seiko brand-new at full MSRP, the prices aren't even in the same realm. A new Speedmaster Racing is over $9k and used versions of the current model are typically over $6k, which is more Grand Seiko territory.
Some people think a pair of pants that says Juicy on the butt are somehow worth paying more for. Same goes with watch dials and names of eurotrash countries.
