Slanderous?? This game is nowhere near perfect. The fact I can’t change my outfit already makes less than perfect fym. Use the same combo for the whole game face ass.
my fav part about sekiro is that it forces you to master it, sekiro is the only game i can pick up months, or even a year later and still be just as good at it as the last time i played
@@urielnascimento3567 not true at all for spider man at least I played the hardest difficulty and beat it in 5 hours it was so easy. For comparison sekiro took me 3 months
@@shadow24754 im not saying marvel spiderman is difficult but mastery of the mechanics arent necessary theirs a difference in gameplay from having a 100 to 200 combo to getting hit every 30 seconds and just pressing square and normal circle dodges.
In my opinion, the only "bad" bossfights are: ape duo and demon of hatred. Headless and shichimen warriors just require tool upgrades. Duo shadow fight can be easily flipped around with the puppeteer jutsu. Duo general fight can be made super easy by luring the sword guy to fall to his death. The real problem this game has is that it has way too many bosses surrounded by grunts in the early game - which makes it extremely hard for new players to learn combat mechanics. This makes the steep learning curve even steeper and more tedious. Btw, I absolutely love the (solo) headless ape fight.
@@gokiburi-chan4255 I beat it like 2 days ago maybe on my second try but it felt totally fine. I'm not sure I understand why it's considered a "bad" fight.
My biggest compliant is the camera angles when your in a fight. You can get pushed back into a bad camera angle before you get out to adjust your camera view you’re already dead.
i dont agree with the criticism at all but i respect the opinion. i guess it's pretty much subjective if you agree or not, but to me i love every single boss, and i love that i can fight them several times in different scenarios. if you dont enjoy fighting the headless i strongly recomend you trying to master them, since to me is one of the most intense and nerveracking fight of the game, they can always fuck you up for one mistake and i love it. What i dont find subjective is complaining about the multi or with minions bosses, though i understand is quite the pain. It's all about being a shinobi, turning things around when you have the disadvantage, and you have plenty of tools to do so. If you put though you can figure out how to do all of them in a safe and reliable way (mostly being sneaky) I still enjoyed the video and found it cool to watch 🤟
@@swordburner6360 true. my first playthrough took 67 hours. after that i finished the shura ending and unlocked the shura outfit in just 5 hours lol. and im also on the 4th playthrough now for the Immortal Severence ending
I’m currently on the first play through. About 2.5 hours spent on the last boss so far. I have made it to his lightning faze, once, but didn’t last long.
I'm glad you added that part at the end. The combat carries you through multiple playthroughs, and with subsequent runs you dont have to worry about upgrades and materials as much.
9:40 and 9:42 are genuinely fine, you have the option to make the other mob your puppet using ninjutsu. That's how they intended player to beat them and the headless ape and his gf is also fun i died like 6 to 7 times but once you know you have this those openings it's easy without fire craker.
one thing i feel like most people dont like in the game is grinding for materials. I loved just killing an enemie over and over to grind spirit emblem and using the golen fan to sneak up on groups of enemies to steal their sin, loot, and emblems.
If you want to really relive the game, you should try the resurrection mod. It might be little difficult but it adds a lot more to the combat, changes pretty much every bosses moveset and just makes the game way more fun
I honestly disagree with the idea that most, or even some, of the bosses are bad. The lone shadows and generals are all fun no matter how often I fight them, and the mini bosses I don’t like, chained ogre, bull, etc. have their rematches late in the game when you are more powerful and can whoop their ass. of the main bosses I think ONLY the double monkey fight is bad. And yknow what, I DID have fun fighting all three shichimen warriors.
The combat, atmosphere, and storytelling in Sekiro are all incredible. The poison swamps really didn't bother me because your movement really doesn't make them slow to traverse. Minibosses like the shadows and headless aren't as bad once they click, but they are tough to stick out. I think the biggest problems with Sekiro are the spamming of enemies and an over reliance on stealth. Minibosses that have enemies surrounding them aren't made more difficult, just more tedious as you have to spend longer clearing them out. Double ape sucks because there isn't a natural way to isolate the fights, you basically need to bait out certain attacks to chip down the brown ape until you can fight the headless ape on its own with ease. Even outside of boss fights, you find sections with too many enemies where you have to stealth kill all but one, and you're left with one real fight out of almost a dozen enemies. I know ceramic shards and the finger whistle prosthetic can be used to isolate fights, but the game doesn't really make this easy, and it doesn't incentivise you to do it. There are combat arts that can be used for evasion and countering perilous attacks, but the game doesn't make it that obvious when they should be applied, so you don't learn. And besides, when you can just run away from every fight to get a stealth kill later, why bother finessing combat arts? I feel like the game wanted movement mechanics that allow you to isolate enemies from a group using your grapple or tools, and a different lock on system that facilitates fighting multiple enemies, maybe something akin to the Arkham games.
Actually there is a lore-based reason for why there are exactly 5 Headlesses. Vaati explains it in his Senpou Temple explanation, but long story short, each Headless represents one of those monks the sugars are named after: Ungo, Gachiin, Yashariku, Gokan and Ako. And even their place on the map is not random. But besides that fun fact, they are really shit to fight with, except very late game or the ones underwater.
I think that overall Inner Father is probably my favorite and the best boss in gaming in its entirety. Soundtrack? The best in the game. Moveset? the absolute peak of Great Shinobi with the additional moves of Owl: Father, and moves that make the most effective strategy against Father while not completely ineffective it’s not as good but still completely viable if you have the skill to counter. It’s absolute perfection outside of the arena since the pillars can completely stunt the timing on any combos or halt him completely. Also a fellow Isshin Ashina “struggler” That bastard always ends my fuggin gauntlet runs lol
This is probably the most accurate review ever… because you put that ending in.. My account so far I only post Sekiro and it’s because I’m in loved with the combat mechanics. And you’re right the first playthrough is fresh but very punishing And then on your 2nd playthrough, I did the same, shura ending, and old man Issin seemed tougher than sword saint, until I mastered him, and then sword saint became harder than him again… Sekiro is really weird… it’s my favorite game in the past 10 years But yeah, you have to beat the game once, then it shines, plus using one mind just feels so cool!
as someone who 100% ed sekiro, it has flaws, but the majority of main bosses are nearly (headless duo is a bastard) perfect. The headless have an excuse to be around, and the other minibosses I found fun.
The worst hidden boss is the camera. I can’t tell you how many times I died because I was close to a wall or I get flung to a wall by an enemy and my camera decides to have a mind of its own. Overall fun game, an actual skill diff.
Crazy to hear the criticism of bosses showing up multiple times when talking about Sekiro. I also had that complaint but it was very minor considering the a majority of those bosses are actually fun to play against (Corrupted Monk, Genichiro etc.) and the only annoying one that you had to actually fight twice was Snake Eyes. You don't have to fight the ape twice and you can skip the Headless altogether. The headless are gimmick bosses anyways since you can't defeat them without collecting a decent amount of a certain item. I really appreciated the fact that there were so many varieties of fodder enemies and that they weren't randomly reused at different stages of the game. An example of a game that does this horrendously is God of War 2018. I played it after Sekiro and the amount of reused bosses and reused fodder was ridiculous.
Had to play it 3 times for the plat, the new game pluses were very quick and it was pretty fun I still remembered most of the bosses after spending so much time learning there moves
In my opinion not being able to loot for greater upgrades (armor etc.) is what gives the game its rogue "samurai" feeling. I dont need all that extra stuff. I want to parry, to slice, to stab and to upgrade my attack power after shinobi execution. Sekiro is so great because it seems simple from the outside looking in, which fools you time and time again
most of the bosses you hate are optional or skipable, you can go get the shelter stone before the flower and then you only ever need to beat the first monkey, you can buy a purple gourd that removes terror, and the generals are really not that difficult, unless we are talking about the one after chained ogre
I know they’re optional I mentioned in the video that’s why I liked the second play through more. They’re optional but also not really since if you don’t get at least 7 prayer necklaces you’re gonna have a rough time lol. I know about the purple gourd but u don’t get it until later. I know generals aren’t difficult never said that I just don’t like how they’re copy and pasted everywhere. But I didn’t know about getting the shelter stone first that’s actually nice to know!
@@n8skate and you can also still go back to the arena after killing the ape the first time if you want the item, and if i remember correctly then the item is the malcontents ring right?
Lol I was going to mention a lot of your complaints came out of skill issue because I went through the same thing, until you addressed it in the last part of the video. This game get a lot more fun once you’ve mastered the gameplay and have a lot of resources you’re not afraid to use
PSA: although the duo fights in this game are really bad, most of them can be avoided. Ex: the shadow dude in the room before the top of Ashina castle where you fight Genichiro. You can actually crouch and stealth one of the dudes, making it a 1v1 with the actual boss. The duo with the spearman and samurai at the Ashina reservoir has something similar, where you can sprint deathblow one of them, although it is much harder to do, and will probably require multiple attempts of running away to de-aggro. Even the headless ape duo can be entirely avoided if you activate the first idle in Mibu village before you defeat the guardian ape in sunken valley.
You can get rid of the general in the reservoir duo by using bloodsmoke on the idle samurai sitting to the side if you don't want to use a sugar, but it does cost a lot of emblems
Great video, yeah I do agree with you that that the World, Lore and Characters are good and that some of the boss suck ass mainly the Headless but i think the other bosses pickup the slack overall despite there being a lot of repeats. I would recommend Lies Of P it's like a combination of Bloodborne and Sekiro but still does it's own thing. And i feel it does some things that improve on both games even some critics you mentioned about Sekiro. And the story has a similar structure to Sekiro as there is characters that do tell stuff about the world and lore but there's a lot of stuff there for you to look into yourself.
As a Sekiro vet (100% completion, around ng+20 overall) I gotta push back on some points. I agree with you on the copy paste of some mini bosses. 3 drunkards and 5 headless (2 underwater), how many ninjas etc. They could have used different yokai for example wielding swords so things would be fresh. They still are just mini bosses not actual bosses but you are correct here, the point stands. The replayability factor I gotta disagree completely. First of all, I bet you my left kidney that anyone completing just their first playthrough has no clue how deep the combat system goes. There are so many unique interactions between prosthetics and bosses and consumables that just by competing the game once you haven't even scratched the surface. You are just getting started. There is insane room for improvement both in efficiency and style in consecutive playthroughs. And if you think you are good enough to beat the game without much issue then go charmless and ring the bell. Those two difficulty settings (either alone or together) will provide plenty of challenge for future new runs. Finally, if you actually clear areas (meaning kill everyone from one idol to the next) and don't run through, then there is absolutely no reason for you to be in need of farming. As the game progresses the gold and xp drops increase. Unless you are dying every two steps or foolishly go into a boss fight with a heavy purse or before securing that xp bar being filled before engaging then Sekiro doesn't actually require farming or grinding at all. Even maxing out the skill tree with the additional unlockable "final" skills was naturally done over the span of 4 playthroughs. At no point should you worry about actually stopping your story progress and grind (mind you the important skills that are "essential" are all possible to get within a single playthrough). To conclude, Sekiro is quite a short game. You are supposed to take your time with it. Speak to everyone, explore everything and just experiment with it as much as possible. The different endings are linked to exactly that. Ps: enjoying your content, keep up the good work.
Thanks! Those are all valid points. I never really felt like I needed to farm for xp it was more for gold. I bought every gold purse I could find and always tried to spend it before bosses but no matter what I only had enough gold to upgrade a few prosthetics a little bit. And by my third playthrough I had enough gold but didn’t even bother because I rarely struggle with anything. But my fourth playthrough I’m going to try charmless and if it’s too easy ring the bell as well.
Pretty fun and fair points, sekiro for me is probably my favorite from soft and I have even beaten it without leveling Healt or attack, where the flaws are even more apparent. Ganks especially suck. I do however think that almost all single bosses are pretty good (except headless ofcourse).
I noticed that all critiques here all point to the game being more difficult. Although people have different preferences, i think it's a solid skill issue, LMAO. I also noticed on your gameplay that you run away from bosses attacks from time to time. Im not saying it's bad, but being able to attack and deflect without making a mistake is what makes the game truly shine. Overall 10/10 vid
@@shengalabu8050 thanks appreciate it! I have gotten a lot better since posting the video. Most of this footage is from my first playthrough now I’m usually hugging bosses unless they do stupid aoe attacks. Looking at you headless ape with your stupid curse scream…
@n8skate The cursed scream might seem insane at first, but before the kanji symbol, a pre animation plays, telegraphing the incoming scream. You can actually just run behind the ape to totally avoid the scream. It's very annoying at first, but as I've learned to know, Fromsoft never fails to make the blame be on the players' own mistakes 🤣
As I'm hearing the section about repeat mediocre repeat bosses, I felt like you could've easily been talking about Elden Ring lmao. To be honest, aside from the Headless, I really don't hate Sekiro's repeat bosses, at least within the context of Fromsoft games, I think that can be attributed to Sekiro's unique combat system, the spearmen and generals are just kinda fun to fight. I haven't checked out your channel, but it always excites me to see people be critical of Fromsoftware games, they make my favorite video games of all times, but people dickride them WAY too hard. I would love to see you make a video like this about Elden Ring, if you haven't already.
Also I don’t communicate in the video clearly but I dont necessarily hate all the repeat mini bosses. But the ones I hated the most were also some of the ones that were copy and pasted everywhere. Especially the headless…
The headless was a really trash fight - I feel like it’s kinda spooky and different when you first fight it, but playing against it is so antithetical to the games combat system that it gets old quick lmfao
Only sekiro players would relate , the enemies you find the easiest now were the ones you died the most in your first playthrough. For me i can beat Guardian Ape , Genichiro , Both Monks and among mini bosses lone-shadow all of them with no damage taken , they feel that easy to me now. But i remember them on whom i wasted hours in my first playthrough :P I am at a point where i can beat all enemy the game has in 1 try now but if i have to list down my personal hard ones even now , Inner father> Bulls > Snake Eye Shiragoshi > demon of hatred > spear bald folks in Hirata estate
As much as I liked the game, it was a very stressful experience. I didn't feel that way with the other From games. I loved Isshin, but was more relieved than exalted when I finally beat the game.
The literal only problem I have with sekiro is just not understanding what the NPC Says. I Always find myself searching youtube for tutorials on where to go next in the story.
If anyone has this on PC do yourself the favor of playing the mods. Resurrection is perfect to spice up the bosses (all made better in the mod) and lmtsr has so much content it’s crazy (but it isn’t easy at all) Edit- once you get the prayer beads you can skip the mini bosses besides the drunkard and the 2nd snake eyes
Great video, I'm glad you decided to pick it up again for 2 more playthrough, since some fight you missed are amongst the best. For me, the best part about Sekiro is the skill ceiling and the fact that I could TRULY face every enemy head on, no gimmick or cheap trick, but also use your brain and fight like a true shinobi. Even after I sunk over 1000 hours in the game, I still find new ways of fighting or new challenge to impose myself with. The depth of the combat system is truly unmatched in the Fromsoft catalogue, even though there's no build variety. I would also actually agree with your negative points, although, I'd still fail to actually find a solution for most of them. IE, exploring and finding consumable is a bit underwhelming, I don't see what else we could actually find, there's no armors and no weapons, compared to other titles of the studio. It's also kind of smart of them of putting non buyable consumable in most spot, so it's kind of okay, but if you don't use those ... it's kinda meh instead. Can't wait to see your point of view after your next playthrough! Now if you'd excuse me, I'll be binging all the other video you put out lmao, cheers!
Thanks! For me fixing the issue of repeat bosses is the easiest. Just don't re use them lol. The other issues are a little harder. They could put new builds, weapons to find, armor that actually changes stats but that would make balancing much harder. With just having kusabimaru and a few prosthetics it's much easier to perfect the combat. And that's exactly what they did.
@@n8skate For the sake of argument, I will objectively play the devil's avocat, kind of, because I do still share your opinion on those points. Repeated bosses would be fine with me, if they made them a "variant" of the said boss, for example, the blazing bull and the sakura bull, though I wish there was more to it, in practice. The headless would've been better if they had different move/power associated with their respective sugar., for instance. Kusabimaru hold too much importance, lore wise, to be replaced, BUT, they could've made skins for the sword, to make up for it. Or rewards swords depending on the ending you completed, like the skins they added. Isshin's Katana in the Shura ending or the black mortal blade from the main ending. Problem is, that would be hard to make them "findable loot" acquired through the game. I can't argue with your points on prosthetics and armor, they would've been cool but oh so hard to introduce without breaking the fine tuned balance that the game has, other than them being simple aesthetics. Twas a long answer, hope you don't mind it too much. Cheers from a fellow Canadian!
I agree, replaying sekiro or doing NG+ improves a lot the experience. It used to be my least favorite FS game and now is among the best ones. Yeah, the lack of building variety and no exclusive content for NG+ is a kinda meh, but being a shorter game it can justify the replay value. Btw, loved you videos format, watched the last 2 released, good job man.
I am currently struggling with Genichiro its my first play thorough. And my mind is like should i quit it or sometimes i am just visualing what i can do better next time i face him 😅
You're gonna win. Keep trying. Small tip for his second phase (third life bar). When he jumps up and throws lightning, jump up, parry and press the attack button, thus throwing the lightning back to him, Genichiro will take a massive damage.
Only thing I didn't like about Sekiro was the placements of the Buddah spawnpoints, when after dying to a boss you had to go through a bunch of enemies to get to the boss again.
S tier bosses: Isshin (both versions) all drunkard versions owl (both versions) true monk genichiro (all forms) all of them that aren’t the terror bosses or folding screen monkey
I applaude the criticism, everyone dickrides FromSoft way too much. But when I see someone pointing out flaws in this game and no mention of that MGS Revengeance levels of bad camera I honestly think that my copy of the game is faulty.
My BIGGEST issue with Sekiro is the Combat arts and spirit emblem costs. It would be so much better if the arts where somewhat balanced and actually had a cooldown and if you went beyond the cooldown then you had to use emblems and stuff. The prosthetic tools are alright cause they are basically meant to be very situational. Money and exp have never been a problem to me personally, but I can see why they are annoying. And yeah, terror is super stupid. Wish we had some sort of contact medicine like we have for poison. Maybe it could have raised received posture damage, so you actually had to get good at parrying and if you did master timings, get no terror at all. (Guardian Ape's terror is easy to escape, Headless are easy to parry once you get the hang of it, except the underwater ones, they are dumb, just like Shichimen Warriors) They could also make a more mod friendly environment and not ban people from seeing remnants (as if they matter), the game doesn't have an online usage either way. And hey, improve dynamic hud, add a more cinematic camera option if possible, that's it. Game is linear and I like it. 9.5/10
My problems with combat arts is that they use the same buttons of attack/deflect so most of the time I just have them not equipped, so I don't activate them by mistake, one could say that is just skill issue but I think this is artificial difficulty, they could have used another button for them. And to add to this it would have been fun if I could have equiped more than one combat art at the same time.
For me sekiro is just like the title of the video: A almost perfect game, it has a nice and clear history, but it also has a lore behind it just like the other souls game. It has a fun gameplay overhaul, almost every aspect in it is good to great, I platinum the game on steam and to this day I got to fight for not play this game again, I never had that with another game, it is my top 2 game of all time but for me, it is probably the best game I ever played, but as I said, it is not perfect, it is almost, it has a lot of mistakes and frustrating things, but I still love this game and at least for me, a lot of these things is just ignorable, just like the mini bosses that you said you skip on NG+, the swamp etc. A nice game that deserve more on my opinion, but I complete understand the people who dislike the game, even I dislike it myself in the beginning, it just click after 3 runs.
I beat 100% Sekiro this Thursday and man, I dunno if its relevant to you what I will say now, but: I just disagreed with the first Genichiro fight and the prosthetic part. I spammed that shit and never went even close to worrying about using them. And genichiro fight had me wanting to ask in sekiro reddit if all major boss fights were gonna be ABSOLUTE CINEMA like that, but I just retried twice (and the third one was because I was stupid enough to let my control run out of battery). Besides that, I believe I couldn't have said anything that you said diffently even if I tried. The exact same complaints you had I had too. The exact same pros you highlighted were what I felt were the strengths of the game too. Did you grow up and became obsessed with MMX, by any chance? Dunno, just curious about so many coincidences. But I digress. Back to the point, the idea of multiple enemies or even Soulslike bosses (ape, demon of hatred) in this kind of scenario is nothing short of infuriating. They do not fit. Armies do not fit. Anything other than a showdown doesn't fit, and even if Owl (father) is an extremely son of a bitch odd fight, its also extremely way more fun than any of the bulls.p I didn't know your channel, but I subscribed after that plot twist in the end. Keep up the good work, my man! (:
to defend sekiro, most of the bad bosses are completely optional. also, when rerunning the game to get to the new endings, i usually got to the new content in a little more than an hour of gameplay, and im not an exceptional gamer.
I’m in the market for a mod that removes terror from the game. If terror wasn’t a thing the game would genuinely be a solid 10x better, or if the build up was longer, as some enemies can stun lock you and in the stun they can get the terror bar filled. The worst mechanic in any game is an instant kill mechanic
Yup, Sekiro only got One Playstyle that has magic only in your first playthrough, I started new game plus and now I started breezing through areas, enemies and bosses. So I quit. I might go back to it someday in future. Hopefully I forget the combat, so I can experience that magic and challenge once again 😅🔥
Why do I have the opposite opinion on the entire game as everyone else 😂 The guardian ape gank fight was super easy, just stun the guardian and pull the mama monkey to you and hit that mortal blade, repeat, or just run and tap You can also striaght up deflect them at the same time if theyre not out of sync Replayability comes from the joy of playing in general, but have you not seen how cool high monk and other combat arts mixed with gameplay? Sakura dance on lightning deflection? I do agree they need to add clothing and maybe sword cosmetics in the next one
I agree replay ability comes from enjoyability that’s why I changed my mind lol the game is so good it makes up for all of the lame mini bosses. I’m halfway through my third playthrough! The duo monkey fight was easy to be fair but I just don’t like the design aspect of trying to separate the two, throwing fire crackers etc.
@@n8skate yeah, I was at the switch up part when I commented, lol. I was saying I felt the same about replayability until I realize how fluid you can combine the combat arts in. You can use them in midair with the skill, too. Lazulite prostetics inherent the blue flame on the weapon if you have living force, want to say umbrella gives built in divine confetti
Bro did a 180 in the last 2 minutes lol. Fr tho Sekiro is one of the most enjoyable games to replay imo. And unlike you, I only dislike the headless, duo apes, and monkeys... All the other minibosses are fun. Centipedes and Ashina Elites are tests of pure rythm and reflexes and I love them, and the Seven Spears, shadows and Snake eyes are just fun, hard af enemies to fight. They get repeated a lot, but I don't think that's essentially wrong or bad.
@@jamesgrillage8086 nothing wrong with using snap seeds, or whatever else the game gives you. To help out in a fight. I unfortunately don’t have any snap seeds lol.
I didn't mind the bulls too much. They're kinda hard to deflect so I pretty much just try to run behind them and spam firecrackers. Pretty boring but I'll fight 10 bulls if it means not fighting one terror enemy
Half the mini bosses u called out that were trash are amazing. Like Lone Shadows, Generals, Seven spears Ashina. I mean i get the seven spears Ashina duo gang fight, but u can just run away, come back and backstab one. For the lone shadow duo u can backstab one so easily. Imo, not the best take, but we all have our options i guess. I suggest finding Owl and doing other endings. Its worth it 🔥🔥🔥
@@n8skate same here. I don't hate the repetition of the drunkards cuz they're all different, same with the lone shadows. Even if they were the same I wouldn't mind too much. I would definitely agree about the headless ape fight. Only bad fight in my opinion. Also I'm not sure if you know, but there are actual outfits in the game. Only four though. Original Wolf, Sekijo, Tengu, and Shura
I Agree with your point, but i think you were a bit harsh on the minibosses. I think having like 2 or 3 of each makes exploration cooler and be less of just spammy gank fight (fuck those purple terror guys though. I couldnt have agreed more on the death mechanices and dragonrot. In a game were you shouldnt play carefully and are meant to die a lot, that mechanic is just really discouraging. Also you give the amazing scenery a bit too little praise. Great vid!
Honestly Sekiro’s biggest flaw is re-playability, first time run is amazing and something truly beautiful(as long as you don’t do the shura ending). But on a second play through it gets boring real fast, the pattern get easier to read. Once you played the bosses 5-7 times you’re already a master and it just feels empty now.
The only point I'd have to hard disagree with is your comments on the replaying Sekiro. In my opinion sekiro offers the best kind of replayability with increased difficulty. Playing the game without Kuro's charm really does change how you play. Replaying Sekiro charmless + Demon bell changes how you play. Hell theres challenge runs you do like recently started a Charmless + Demon Bell base Vitality and attack power run of Sekiro. I stopped counting by I've the number of times I've played Sekiro fully must be in the double digits. The point of me saying this is to point out that Sekiro's combat system has so much to offer. Mastering Sekiro's combat is the ultimate incentive to replay the game. Discover new strategies to fight bosses under pressure, learn perfect timings. Challenge yourself and overcome those obstacles. My apologies for any grammar mistakes. I'm writing this at like 3 in the morning.
Sekiro has, indeed, issues. Uncontrolled camera that goes crazy in the worst moments? Check! Inconsistent hitbox behavior with some enemies? Check! Fights where you can't straight up focus on the main boss? Check! Weapon limitations? Check! Sekiro is a fucking great game, with one of the tastier combat systems ever created, but in no way is it perfect.
Weapon limitation is one the reason this game is good Give me one weapon from souls saga that is satisfying and tight designed as sekiro's katana My dream is that fromsoftware focus on 10 different weapons with more depth than 300 or more like elden ring
Everything you said was good: I fully agree Everything you said was bad: fully disagree, you need to get good The ONLY problem and I mean ONLY problem with the game is the camera can fuck you over when youre right up against a wall. But apart from that my only complaint is that they didnt make more
The part I hate is XP farming. I don't care about the replayability as the game gets harder and with demon bell and kuro's charm you it can get absurdly hard and like this game because it's combat mechanics, for me no other games comes near to Sekiro when it comes about combat. But yeah it's gets pretty boaring after the first playthrough as there's nothing new.
Camera, poison swap, and so many filler skills and prosthetic tools Mini bosses with requirements of certain grindy items and gazilion enemies around them But still, overall, i overlooked those things because the game is well done and generous
