I love these “Stealth Gameplay” videos! They’re so polished and show such an in-depth knowledge of how the game functions. I hope you’ll eventually do one for every area.
i used to have knowledge of every enemy and item like ongbal does but i haven’t played sekiro in a while, it takes a lot of non stop play to remember everything
Imagine joining the temple, devoted your life to chasing immortality in the cost of everything, you even pulled someone from dark souls to guard the most questionable place an armored boss could be, you got infested by centipede and stuff but you still got your ass whooped by a dude in an orange costume that is only equipped with a sword and A FAN.
It's such a warped and twisted version of what buddha meant by eternal life too. The point is to shed all attachments to the material plane and die and be reincarnated into... Sort of nothingingness, immaterial, one with the universe and all that. That is nirvana. For these monks to chase an eternal life in the material plane is an utter perversion of one of the main tenants of Buddhism. It's disgusting and so fucking cool lmao
Man I love the level designs of souls-like games. It always fascinates me how the end game levels connect back to the levels we started with. This was soo beautifully done in Sekiro
I always loved this area so much, it may be the best in the game. It’s really beautiful and you can tell there was a lot of effort put in with the vibe and the different paths and areas to explore.
Just before the final door, those 3 guys with the hats and spinning moves, they were the only ones in the area I had trouble figuring out a way to stealth takedown, this video shows you are the master! MGS: Snake would be proud.
I think you should do a full game with every area covered. We just love to see you playing this game. Hope elden ring doesn't stop you from taking this game to next level. You're the best ONGBAL ❤️
Senpou Temple had no idea what was coming. Senpou Temple never knew what happened. A shadow passed and Senpou Temple stood empty except for the glittering bags of wealth of its former denizens, left forever unclaimed.
I'll agree that Sekiro is absolutely a masterpiece, and deserves more praise than it gets. To me it's easily their best game. But a long line of best ever? I don't know about that. They stumbled a LOT along the way. They basically created a genre that doesn't have many other contenders, so I guess by default they would be in that genre, but not in general. People also overrate Elden Ring by a bit, It's a good game, but it still has the same issues other FS games have. People also pretend like it's the first open world game ever. The fanboyisn around that game is astounding.
Didn't know that you could spirit away those monks. I have a theory that since because Kotaro was an innocent, kind-hearted soul that got spirited away to where his friends were (essentially his idea of "heaven"), then those corrupt monks who did nothing but evil probably got spirited away to this world's version of "hell". Pretty satisfying lore-wise
Had no idea Divine Abduction one-shots all these guys. Also, Senpou Temple is an absolutely beautiful area, the music and the autumn aesthetic especially.
Finally! New "stealth gameplay" video is great! =D I pass this area almost in the same way for a long time. :) Look forward for another exploring video!
The stealth gameplay videos are amazing, so many things i would have never thought of in every video. I wonder how long it takes to plan all these routes.
I don't know if you were trying to show how to kill absolutely everything, or not, but if you were, I think you missed two guys. That was still a great run, regardless.
i had no idea you could kill the dual blade staff hat monks like that, it was pissing me the fuck off every time I tried to replay sekiro, amazed they didn't just see you there.

When I rage quit this game I play this video on my TV, hold my PlayStation controller and pretend that's how I'm playing the game just so I can feel better about myself

I’m in my 30s & this was the first game where I couldn’t beat the end boss. I tried for weeks and always got to the 3rd phase . Oh well . Awesome game !
If you came to the temple before defeating Genichiro, then the priest can be found in the temple. If you defeat Genichiro first though, then that priest will be long dead in the cave.
I used to play this game every day and after like 3 months I was at a similar level of skill (sthealth gameplay speaking). Never even come close to reach is combat skill tho, not even after almost a year playing the game every day
@@Sovrike Yeah I’ve definitely platinumed the game, reached NG+7, and done a playthrough without upgrading my health without Kuro’s Charm + Demon Bell. However, even though my skill is extremely high, Ongbal is on a different level. Dude just lives and breathes this game to the point where it’s impossible for him to be touched, lol. Man knows the game better than the devs do at this point. He’s the best Sekiro player I’ve ever seen.
@@OsyrisCorleone Yeah but I mean we need to remember that he probably don't achieve all of this on first try, if he would have done this on live it would have been a different story but since this is a pre recorded video.... Not that im trying to say he's not skilled or anything
@@Sovrike For stealth things it's easy to first try (especially Senpou Temple it seems to be design to be a stealth part) but for his skill showcase videos you are probably right, despite this I think he is above everyone.
@@AkioJunichiro you still have to come up with the strategies and route to not get spotted, and he needs to confidently take out two minibosses flawlessly on demand (his damage is high but a simple mistake is easy to make) not saying this is harder than combat mastery though.
