RULES: No damage from any source, blocking, or staggers (Divine Dragon P2 Wind doesn't count). Live Daily at www.twitch.tv/squillakilla Follow at Twitter.com/OGsquilla
streamers, speed runners and these kind of play throughs literally play the game non stop, every day, for months and even years to perfect their craft. any enjoyment, excitement or fear of the game is long dead lol.
Tyler Durden Well actually y rather way, way more killing a hard boss after, idk, maybe 10 tries and then get so fucking happy when i kill him; thna just kill every boss without even get an smile for finally do it.
I thought the title meant he wasn't going to press the block button, so I managed to be underwhelmed by what under any other standard would be a pretty impressive run.
"any enjoyment, excitement or fear of the game is long dead", imagine it’s what’s death, he’s also talking about being immortal or live 10x times longer, that he doesn’t want that
Jesus Christ. This guy just beat the whole game without taking any damage AND blocking! Like, he parried every hit. You know how hard it is to get the timing right for some bosses in this game? Wow man just wow!
@@LastAtreides doubt it if you want. Also i think if you parry your posture never breaks. I could be wrong about that but i think i remember hearing about it somewhere.
Trial and error and 1000s of hours of gameplay. Since people don't have this amount of time to dedicate. Kudos to him but imagine if he put this level of commitment to learning different languages.
My first time fighting Ape I was constantly getting wrecked. I think it took me an hour before I decided to slow down and just learn him. When I cut his head off I felt like a god. I verbally cheered. Then I laughed for the last time on this game.
TO ANYONE SAYING THAT HE CHEATED READ THIS: blocking is not the same as deflecting/parrying. basicly when you block you HOLD R1 and if you dont have the Kuro charm you get damage, if you get the timing correct you can DEFLECT/PARRY meaning you take no damage even withouth the charm.
parrying is BLOCKING but perfectly timed, so i think that the tittle doesn't match with the run. (I'M NOT DISCREDITING HIM, he's 10000000 times better than me.)
@GhostRNL Tip: whenever Emma is going to do the ashina cross you can thrust attack her interrupt it. For the most part as long as you get the deflection timings correct you can find a lot of openings to get her vitality. For isshin ashina, use the great feather mist Raven to get behind him for his fire attacks or use the Phoenix lilac umbrella to absorb is his fire attacks.
Shinobi is the only boss/mini boss I defeated no hit in my first playthrough. Stealth attacked him for the first bar and fucked him up with mikiri counters
Watching this run and the way you approached boss battles made me git gud at my own game in Sekiro. Even though my goal was not a no-hit run but just to beat the game and go to NG+, watching you play the way you played with your on-point parry game and dodging made me better at those and i slayed isshin (after hours of trying) with an almost no-hit run (took some hits in isshin's second phase) . Thanks for your video. Even though your intent might not have been to teach, you taught me well, Master! P.S. - At Guardian Ape in my NG+ run, and I haven't died once yet. #FeelsGoodMan
Spending thousands of hrs trying to do no damage runs on all the souls and souls-like games? No way. Thats too much time on the same games when theres so many other great games to play? No thanks.
It's mostly from the snakes; it would be bad-ass if there was a gore+ feature in the settings though!! More blood spray from attacks for longer, more blood splash on Sekiro himself and more blood splatter on the environment >:D
1 + hour of one of the hardest game with one arm tied behind back and still being nice to his viewers. You are a cool guy man. You get my sub. Actually finished and the whole video. Excellent run man. Keep it up 👍
Yes its true i beat darksoul and bloodborne. No boss is harder than isshin. 4 life its just crazy. And took a lot of your time to git good. I max upgrade and got 3 time oppurtunity to last hit isshin to kill it and then i die.
This game was my first fromsoft game and I beat the final boss in about 10 attempts. I also got half way through him on my first attempt the hardest boss for me was probably guardian ape or demon of hatred I guess it's on your playstyle
@@user-gw9zh1it4b Demon of Hatred takes the cake and is the only boss that took me more than 10+ tries. I'm not even that good but dying over and over and over to the hidden purple ninja at Hirata Estate broke open the game and made most of the bosses seem like a joke.
wait, he parries though... isn't that just playing good. It's no, I'm going to only physically avoid blows. That's lame for a the very first type of run. Not saying it's not impressive, it's just doesn't seem like WR material.
@@sorensouthard927 bruh, deflecting and blocking are two different things. While you do take chip damage when blocking, deflections negate all incoming damage and are not considered to be blocking. the only way to defeat some bosses without taking forever and making the fight 1000000x less entertaining is by deflecting so it'd only make sense to allow it.
@@sorensouthard927 Have you played the game ? Parrying is the essence of the game and is mostly what makes you win fight, both defensively and in term of attacks
I still think the way the Isshin fight ends is so fucking sick. The way he bows, knowing he's lost and that he cannot win, that he's been truthfully and honestly bested, he shows respect. His lays his arms down and he waits for Sekiro to take his life. Like a true samurai would in that situation. So badass.
Isshin never wanted to fight the Wolf at the end, it was at the final wish of his grandson (Genichiro) that had to be obeyed for reasons I’m still unsure of. I’d love to know if you know it now.
You have my full respect, god damn! Would never be possible for myself, adrenaline gets me everytime in this game. Many hours to get through :D Amazing job!
Anytime I need help on a boss I'm just gonna watch this video. I was struggling with the guardian ape until i saw you spam his ass in the beginning. This really helped me!
Hob can’t even control his anger properly , that’s why he sucks and kinda slow compare to the rest of the other people ... the trick to doing this as fast as possible is to perfectly control your anger and always focus on doing the right move
this must of taken you a serious amount of dedication. i have the playthrough streamed and it took me nearly a week just to beat issin... Great effort!!!!
Absolute legend. What a run. Good job man. And Sekiro is a nearly flawless game. Absolutely love being mad at it. It RARELY feels cheap like the Dark Souls series. From Software were on top of their game when they made this. Love it. Going through it again now.
so guys what was your first unlocked combat art? I bet 99% of the people got whirlwind slash first (just like me) and here is this guy with mortal draw
Hector Jara Kenway Things have changed now on the first attempt I destroy lady butterfly and I typically be getting each year on the first try as well same with the final boss usually on the first attempt I can beat him 🙏
@@Hunter-rd2bp the sculptor was around at the time of tomoe&takeru so we'd learn more of him in such a dlc. Genichiro is established well enough as a character in the main game, besides the origin of his fighting style comes from Tomoe to begin with, so I'd rather get that directly. Genichiro's purpose in gameplay and the story is already fulfilled. (a bit more details on his backstory could be possible but I'm not really looking for another Genichiro fight)
@@snazzyjovialwyrm3314 midir v2 I mean the divine dragon we fight is pretty much not even the divine dragon's physical form. It's reminiscent of sekiro and kuro (scar on the chest like the one from the mortal blade, one armed like sekiro) IMO the fight represents an internal struggle not a real physical one (that's why you 'go there' when you pray)
I finished the game (only the Shura ending, though...) and by reading the comments, I just understood there is a difference between parrying and blocking
I am learning a ton about just how important the parry’s really are va actual sword slices. Like it’s amazing how quick the posture damage can go up while the health is still pretty high
holy sh*t. I just searched "Sekiro no hit run" just for fun and did not expect it to exist. I know how good you are since I watched your dark souls playthrough, but Sekiro? damn perfect parry, you Sir are a God.
