Dude, WeeGees with their fantasies are long after the step when they need to enter the nuclear carrier era. Jet aircraft, rocket attacks vs large warships. Those sovietophilic fanatics started with 1950+ ships because ze mighti red fleet didn't have anything else and now they actually are at 1970 mark. For some reason though they hesitate to introduce Red Octobers, nuclear carrier strike groups and clouds of cruising missiles swarming the sky. And once this was so nice WW1-WW2 "naval artillery game". But no, fuken russian nationalists could not stand that communists didn't build basically ANYTHING before 1950.
@@BENNO117 Shinano could carry 80-95 ready-to-fly planes, so it is more than an Essex-class could. Hence definitely it is not "very few" and "only intended". That the Japanese problem in 1944 was lack of pilots, blocked supply routes and large ship resistance to air attacks - was completely another issue. Of course, a Yamato-size ship could've carried much more planes if built as a carrier from the start or if the conversion had started earlier. But they used armored spaces to install protected fuel tanks instead. Was it a "super-carrier"? Ask the WeeGees. They seem to define their own classification, based on "sikrit archivez".
It must be hard for you to play these carriers. But to be trueful it seems like it is fun to play. A good solution would be to limit how far a plane could fly from the ship, thus making the carrier come in closer to the action. All you have to do now is sit at the back of the map and fly across the entire playing area. And of course spot everyone for your teammates. But the 10K per torp was obscene. GG!
now that's an interesting idea! maybe there should be a fuel gauge that runs out, limiting the range of your aircraft. It's not a replacement for more effective AA, but it's an idea I haven't seen or thought of before

@@berserker4940 If there's not any major threatening AA then the options open to make more attack runs with a full squadron. I play strong AA destroyers so he would die before the 3rd attack for sure so he's better off just depleting his squadron to save some ready aircraft. IDK... that's the best that I can fathom. I'm not a CV player.
@@berserker4940 It both saves some squads for later and it allows to "skip" faster to the enemy. its like the speed boost planes get but a pseudo version of it. That's to my knowledge what it is, I'm no CV player tbh.
HONEST OPINION - There is no last ship "to be needed" in such online games like war gaming. They develop more and more overpowered ships as the time passes. Otherwise, their income source will not be flowing 'cause players are settled and nothing more to spend to get a better item. But at least this is true that some of the superships will have a long-term impact in excellent battle performance.
If you want to play super ship satsuma, so you can delete poor cruisers with 510mm overmach! The pay back period is coming for you! Super carriers will Fack every available hole!

The Satsuma is a prime example of why CVs are so dumb. Guy was doing everything he could to "just dodge" but it doesn't matter. Wasn't doing anything meaningful to the planes to dissuade attack either so Trenlass gets 4 drops off flying around in AA for a whole minute nbd. How many planes were lost? Three. Seriously: I can't believe people are dumb enough to defend this shit. But that is the unfortunate state of WoWs at this point. You play knowing you're likely to have to deal with this.
Its all about draining Credits from the game. More and more overpowerd T11, which mostly cost credits to play AND are expensive. Eagle, United States and now Sekiryu.. for what? WG is no longer interested in any balance
CVs are worse on console. Maps are smaller and fewer ships for CV to attack. CVs have all but made DDs useless on console. Then more and more people use them because "if I'm going to be continuously match against CVs, I might as well be the person in the CV". Then before you know it, 80% of match have a CV and the issue is just compounded by newer players who can't or refuse to learn to play DD, Cruiser, of BB. Something has to be done, a CV doesn't have to risk damage to their ship to affect the game. I propose that anytime the CVs planes are in the air, their ship will be spotted, even during a return. So if you recall plane then immediately send more, your ship will always be spotted. Also I want control over my AA(I want to aim and shoot them). I propose being able to control the AA, but main guns and torpedoes can't be fired while in "manual mode". Ooooooooor, allow me to mod my ship to the match during the loading screen. I shouldn't have to chose between mods for killing ships vs mods for killing planes(its called world of warships, not world of war planes).....just do something please.

hardly OP, average sort of damage done on that map and killed before the end by a DD snipe. add to that the 400,000 + credit repair and supply bill and the super carriers do not have much impact in the game. really good cv players are hitting 300k damage in tech tree ships so nothing has changed
super cv are worse then OP they are game breaking nothing worse being in a tier 9 battleship and its a super CV game but i think the tier +2 is worst thing they changed all because they are losing player numbers
I just got TRASHED by this cv. Had to come see how broken it really is. Wargaming is so disconnected from their playerbase its not even funny. They ruined tanks, now they will do the same with ships.
Best part of it is that all those supership tier 12 players whine about the tier 9 iowa lol. When I play tier 9 in such a matchup I simply go suicide with style and get on with my life, because I consider it a bug/oversight, that this match making exists.
