In case people don't know, this is running on the gzdoom engine. It's a high end doom mod game. Probably one of the most complex ever made. The best thing about this, is that you can use commands to enable texture filtering like xBRZ upscaling, when most other retro games disable texture filtering, which I find to be incredibly obnoxious. Let people choose. Also, openal surround sound hrtf support. How many games, AAA included, support this? The level of interactivity is insane too. If I didn't tell you it's gzdoom, how would you know? Probably wouldn't unless you already knew.

The only downside is that it’s not licensed to consoles, meaning they can’t make parts for them. Think of how many games could get more exposure from that! Delano would be even more of a future hit.

If it is possibly compatible with zandronum, yes it will be possible.

gzdoom can do multiplayer... the question is: would it run long enough without desync to be fun

I agree. While i love this game the amount of rooms on each floor combined with being near indistinguishable from each other made navigation a bit overwhelming
