안녕하세요, 오늘은 간만에 자작곡을 가져왔습니다.
제목에 있는 WoO의 의미는 Werke ohne Opuszahl 의 약칭이며 작품번호
없는 작품이란 뜻입니다.
저는 현재까지 제가 스스로 Opus 번호를 매긴 작품은 단 두곡 이며, 그 이유는 제가 스스로 작품성이 어떤지에 판단하에 따라서 작품번호를
매기기 때문입니다.
이 영상에 나오는 WoO모음곡들은, 개인적으로 생각했을때 그나마 조금
나은 작품성을 가진 곡들만 추려서 영상을 만들어 봤습니다.
여전히 매우 부족한 곡들이지만 들어주시면 감사하겠습니다 :)

- Quasi Sonatine WoO 32 : 단순한 소나티네 형식을 흉내낸 2악장으로 구성된 소품입니다. 고전적인 스타일을 띄고 있습니다.

- Toccatina "Tension" WoO 33 : 민첩한 테크닉을 요구하는 에튀드적인 스타일의 토카티나입니다. 낭만주의의 느낌을 내려고 했습니다.

- Grand Prelude "Rainy day" WoO 39 : 라벨의 "옹딘" 을 생각하며
써보았습니다. 라벨의 음형을 흉내냈으며, 비오는 날에 느낀 감정을 표현해
작곡 해보았습니다.

- Transcendental Etude "Military" WoO 40 : 옥타브 기교를 요하는 매우 어려운 초절기교 연습곡입니다. 프란츠 리스트의 기교를 흉내 내보았으며,
군입대가 결정되고 난 뒤의 심정을 표현 했습니다.

- Immaginavo WoO 43 : 프렐류드와 푸가입니다. 5음계를 자주 사용했으며, 제목에 그렇듯 "나의 생각" 을 그린 작품입니다. 해석은 자유로이 하시면 좋을 듯 합니다.
푸가가 쓰기가 어려웠던것 같습니다.

- Korean Rhapsody WoO 44 : 한국의 정서를 생각하며 써본 광시곡입니다. 이 곡은 군대에서 오선보에 조금씩 써오다가
전역 후 마무리지었습니다. 광시곡인만큼 매우 자유롭게 즉흥적인 성격으로 작곡 했습니다.

Greetings, everybody! The pieces that I upload this time are my own compositions. WoO, standing for "Werke ohne Opuszahl" in German, means "work without Opus number".
I've numbered only two works with Opus number - my own thoughts about musicality of the pieces determine whether the pieces are numbered with Opus number. These WoO pieces have slightly better musicality than others. Still these are utterly poor in my opinion, but thank you for listening, anyway.

- Quasi Sonatine (WoO 32): This piece is a mimicry of a simple two-movement sonatine in the Classical style.

- Toccatina "Tension" (WoO 33): This is an étude-like toccatina that requires nimble technique, in style of Romanticism.

- Grand Prelude "Rainy Day" (WoO 39): This was inspired by Ravel's "Ondine" from "Gaspard de la nuit". Imitating Ravel's musical form, I tried to express the feelings of rainy days.

- Transcendental Étude "Military" (WoO 40): This horrendously difficult piece requires intricate octaves. Imitating Franz Liszt's technique, I expressed the feelings after determining military service.

- Immaginavo (WoO 43): This is Prelude and Fugue. I often used pentatonics, and writing fugue was quite difficult... As written in the title, I composed "my thoughts" into music, so it is okay to interpret freely.

- Korean Rhapsody (WoO 44): This is a rhapsody while thinking Korean sentiment - since it is a rhapsody, it contains greatly freely improvisatory spirit. The composition started in the army using manuscript note and finished after discharging the military service.
