Do you know that during this sold out record breaking performance she sang for two straight hours with no break or a glass of water??!! I consider myself fortunate to have seen her live. She and the band were incredible. I’ll never forget that night. She sounded just like this and yes she was a total knock out! You can ask my husband as he just about freaked out at the sight of her!

i actually think it was more like almost an hour because the live album on spotify is 50ish minutes! but that is still a very long time!!

Most people that react to this don’t notice that she pushed the cameraman out of the way because he was in front of Don. Once again that just shows what a great person she was. She wasn’t just up on the stage saying look at me look at me.

Hey, so fun fact about the drummer. If I’m correct, the drummer during this performance was a temporary one and I’m not sure if he was a last minute choice or how many days in advanced they picked him because Suzette (A.B. & Selena’s sister) had an ankle injury prior to this performance. Suzette was their main and only drummer, and it was only this one performance she didn’t part take in. There is a video of Suzette explaining and talking about how she feels so bad that she didn’t play because well that was their final performance before the unfortunate.

Hey Dan, I think it's perfectly respectable to admire on the inside and out lol. I hate cancel culture myself because it's misused and you definitely would not fall in that category in my opinion...I've seen other reactions to Selena by males who comment on her body more than her abilities and they still have a channel🤷🏻‍♀️ they type of comments you've put regarding Selena are 100x better than some others because your focus is on her talent. But men are human too, it's only natural to look lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

Even when Selena was so sexy, she had this wholesomeness about her that was so endearing and relatable that made audiences embrace her so easily. You should react to the latino artists that influenced Selena's style, besides of course the American ones like Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Whitney, Jody Watley. Selena was a big fan of Gloria Estefan and especially Rocío Durcal. I'm shocked they didn't mention them on the series because she was a big fan of them, too. The first time I heard Selena was right before she died. I was watching David Letterman and it was at the end of the show when they have their musical guest. I was tired. She sang River Deep Mountain High. My ears perked up imediately and I thought "OMG! This Latin criss is the future where American music was going. There was this excitement and energy that American music was lacking that I didn't know it was lacking at the time. We were watching the birth of something new! I heard about the new English album and was waiting for that to come out so I could buy it... And it never came. After watching the series, I did a RU-vid search, trying to find a recording of her singing River Deep, but no luck. I can't even find a mention of it. I think that David Letterman episode is the only recording. Celine Dion later recorded River Deep. The similarity of the names had made a RU-vid search nearly impossible. If you can find Selena's version, please review that song and pass on a link to the source :_)
