That’s not that easy. I worked for this deal. I was researching the entire Europe and the same day I found this van I was ready with cash to buy. We were considering buying the same year before for 5k and the entire layout would be different. We wouldn’t have enough money to finish it the way it is now.

With labour it gets more expensive and I did everything myself. I researched the entire internet for second hand parts and cheap items I used like stove, water pump, sink... the van was a good deal too but in pretty bad shape. Look at the built video on this channel too! I’ll make a separate video just about ebikes so stay tuned.

I knew principles of direct current and I just talked to a friend electrician where I should have fuses and how thick cables to use. I believe you can read about it online.

Electrical isn’t too difficult with RU-vid, the internet and books. But if it really is the difference you can go to Home Depot and ask the electrical guy there 🤷‍♀️ their actually pretty damn helpful 😆😇✌️

As a licensed RV technician I can honestly say that doing your own 12 volt is really easy with some basic research. It gets more involved the more you want to add, but unless you’re trying to wire for 110/120v AC it’s really easy and safe to do with a tool in one hand and a phone running google in the other. One of the big things is just watch where you ground to, a bad ground connection is the reason for most of the electrical malfunctions I have to fix. For doing AC I would recommend just wiring in a simple inverter and not trying to run a bunch of plugs. 12v DC gives you a little tingle if you get shocked, AC is a lot more dangerous. It can cause your muscles to seize so if you don’t have help to get you off the live wire you’re stuck praying a fuse/breaker blows to stop the power before it leaves you extra crispy.

Actual projector screen. I routered grove in the bed side and glued the screen shell in garage side. Works great and saves space.

I did see one video where it did have windows but had a special type of paint so from the outside, they don't look like windows, but more like panels in the side. I'm trying to find it again. I wish I had saved it at the time. I'm also wondering if someone does some stealth-type small cameras that can be fitted to the outside of the van so that you can see all around, if you're inside. They would have night vision/infra red.

These are custom ebikes. I've been prototyping them with my friends in Czechia. I currently have one for sale, starting at $4100. The one I show in the video is my top model. I can set all my parameters like power modes through bluetooth in my app. I also check charging status in the app. So cool to have the bike at the back of the van and know what the battery charge status is. Buch of settings like power modes through that app too.

Ultimate Tensile they are knock off versions and NO they are not worth £15000, they are made in australia and are 10k aud, thats abour £7500 if you are paying more then that you are getting ripped off by the importer.

What do you mean? The van was 65.000czk ($2800) and the rest were parts to finish it of to the stage you see in the video.

But later tonight as I walk up the stairs to my big bed, after a nice hot shower, as the dishwasher whirrs away to itself... at that moment I will realise that I'd go crazy in a van full-time! I enjoy watching others do it though!

No engineering background. Yeah, I love these projects and it totally swallows me. I live and breath through it for certain period. I am a cabinet maker by trade and when traveling I purposely switch jobs often. I noticed I learn the most first 3 months and later it becomes just a routine. So I worked as a furniture designer for few months, worked on cnc machine, worked in motorhome conversion company. I found this very entertaining to always be with some skilled professionals and learn as much as possible from them.

Yes I did. Few months in Australia, did few cars for quick money too. Usually low budget from second hand parts.

We don’t have a toilet. Feels like unnecessary to have a small, dedicated area for one purpose in this small space. It stinks, we would have to be cleaning it. We don’t see a reason why to have one just to be comfortable for few minutes a day. We have a dedicated shovel for this purpose and in cities we do gas stations or public toilets. We are happy this way, and it’s a trouble free life!

This is one of the most organized vans I’ve seen. Very impressive and everything has been so miticulesrly designed. My wife and I are dreaming about selling everything and hitting the road. We have about 7 years till I retire but we are doing everything we can now to get ourselves ready. Watching videos like these really make my day. Thanks a bunch for sharing?

$6000? Good joke. Even if you had the knowledge and time to do all the labor yourself, materials alone would cost so much more. Solar equipment, water equipment, the kitchen, cabinetry, the lift for the bed, new paint job, and then the van itself..... y’all lying 😂😂

@@Brooderful On roads it's ok when I use the first power mode. It limits top speed to 25km/h and reduces acceleration. Nobody ever stopped me to ask tho :)

@@Brooderful Thanks a lot. It will take you a lot of time to learn about building one and you will make a lot of mistakes at the beginning. But it is a lot of fun and good skill. Police stopped my friends actually but only to chat and take a selfie :)
