Your tea spritz has saved me from a LOT of shedding. Thank you! My biggest self care ritual is a weekly steam at the gym. I do a mani/pedi in there, deep condition my hair, and relax and let go of EVERYTHING. I've done it for years. It's base of my week.
This video was very inspiring for me. It takes a strong minded person to understand that being selfish is okay. Life will continue with or without us, but take time to nuture what you have to give this life that you have right now. What you mentioned about allowing the Earth to cleanse you was spot on. Throughout life we at some point, must know when to let dead things die. Like you said, let go of the negative energy into the Earth . There it can be reborn for you as another piece of your spirit that you can once more give new life to. Having ways or rituals, as it were, to invest in you and sort your thoughts, are a great way to take your time for you. Take your time, that is most precious, to figure out you and how you play into life. Figure out what is going right or wrong in your life. Understand the things you have control over. If you can't find some good thing about something or someone or anything that brings no good to you, let it go. Clear your mind and spirit of all the negative energy taking up space for more positivity in your life. Give it to the Earth and let it come back to you pure and ready to live.
Girllllllll, Those coils are BEAST!!!! Those spirals can circle the drain, round and round and round and round. How pretty. I have no idea what you are talking about. I can not stop looking at this hair!! Wow!! I like this style. I like this style on YOU!
The joyful jar is going to be something that I will be embedding into my life. Social media and constant documenting/posting of people's life can make people think that happiness doesn't TAKE WORK! I've told people that I have to work on that everyday through self-care and concept is almost alien to some. Amazing idea, Laila
I really take on board tip no.4, taking a moment to be selfish. I am constantly doing things for others and kind of feel like I have been neglecting myself in order to meet their needs. I centre myself through prayer and reading. I would like to do more for myself but feel stretched and somewhat drained but I trust in God that this feeling is temporary and that something better is ahead :)
Something better is definitely ahead but last Sunday our guest preacher said something that really resonated me and I found it so profound. " You will not change, what you tolerate" Decided today that you will take time for yourself. You can't give what you don't have and if you carry on and tolerate it, nothing will change. x
Hi Laila, I love your videos! Can you make a specific video about your plants please? The names of them, how you care for them, where you buy them etc? Thank you kindly in advance!
Hey Layla! Ever since you told us how you dont put anything on your scalp i've did the same. I did use evoo to moisturize my scalp but since im not using the evoo anymore my scalp seems to stay cleaner longer, looks clean, feels clean and I thought my scalp would be dry and have flakes but it doesnt. Btw thank you for your advice, time and energy you put into these videos. They are appreciated! ❤
Hello, I like what you are saying. Favorite part was about the plants yes. Plants give a room a better look and calms the environment. I have lots of plants too. And daily time for yourself , I am a true beliver in that as well. Thanks for sharing. ☆★♡¤
1) Give love (to things like pets and plants) 2) sip some tea ☕🍵 3) Start a gratitude jar and journal 4) take time for yourself- run a bath, paint your nails, do your hair 5) meditating/reading
