I am so glad I found your channel today. Your content is so peaceful and honest and inspiring. I’ve been going through a period of increasing anxiety over the past two to three weeks and had a small melt down today. I saw one of your videos earlier this morning so when I got back from work I ran through a few more after my melt down and I feel a little more at peace now. Sometimes when you’re in the middle of something, even though you know God has pulled you through stuff in the past, your mental vision gets clouded especially when you’re a person who already deals with anxiety and or depression in general. Thanks for giving me some perspective.
Wow thank you sooo much Shi for sharing such a beautiful and vulnerable part of your life with us here! I am so glad that you found peace through my videos! May you have peace, clarity, and joy moving forward on your healing journey!
everything about this was incredible. It's difficult to find FAITH BASED black women who incorporate practices of self care AND have beautiful visuals. sometimes i feel too "hippie-ish" and that acknowledging chakras or being interested in nonreligious rituals makes me a "bad christian". I really needed to see a visual of how to incorporate God in my wellness practices because the current image of wellness is very self reliant and hardly ever focused on faith. thank you x a million for this!
I am so glad you found value from this video:) And girl, you're absolutely right!! I too personally find it hard finding content that just includes GOD in attractive ways that will help me with my self care, which is why I go to God for inspiration for everyone of my videosI He knows what we need, and he's down with us using beautiful methods to get back on track;) I mean He is the creator of self care 💁After all.. lol - thanks for sharing this with me! I needed to hear this today
@@ClareceLeona Journee Harris I'm confused. I'm a growing Christian and I thought chakra and crystals where Buddhist and thereby not to be practiced by Christians. I learned that we are allowed to do Christian meditation. I've also found Christ-centered yoga. I've always loved nature and essential oils but I stay away from ones with crystals. I'm not commenting to condemn or judge either of you. I am simply trying to reach an understanding. Look forward to hearing from both of you.
@@cassidybrown7592 Hey Cassidy, I'm not offended; I love questions! So when it comes to things like crystals (for me) it all comes down to intent. If you are for example: worshipping crystals, then yes that's idolatry. But, if you are simply using natural sources of healing-recognizing it is Jesus that is the healer- then that's a much different story. I'm not deep into crystals in anyway, but I do research the benefits of them and in my study time I look for references of those findings in the Bible- of which I've gained a lot of beautiful revelation from. My walk with God is built on relationship with HIM first, so my advice with that is to follow whatever GOD convicts you to do, because his personalized advice for you is the only one that matters. And what he may encourage you to do can indeed look totally different than what he advises other people to do!
I found your channel last night through your "Why I stopped masturbating" video and I fell in love. I'm trying to grow my relationship with God again (I've been in new age for a few years) and it's been difficult to come out of it, and hear God's voice. I begin to search Black Christian RU-vidrs and came across your channel and just fell in love! Like I wish we were real life friends because I don't have many friends who believe in God. Thank you for this video, it was definitely relaxing and I love how you included Kelsey Lu's Music, I love her soooo much. You are inspiring and I can't wait to see more content of yours. ♡
