Just started teaching myself how to tattoo at 30 so I was soooo happy to see this recommended to me. I'm not a seasoned artist so I have a lot to learn on all skills fronts but it feels exciting. Good luck!!!

Heyyy 🤍 thank you so much for your feedback means a lot.I do enjoy using kwadron needles a lot. I actually used them on the first tattoos I did on skin on a friend of mine and they were so smooth but I have been enjoying Cyber lately because of their extra soft grip, they also make me feel like they protect the machine from fluids getting in a bit better. As I am still practicing and learning I don’t believe you can go wrong with any of these two. Maybe practice with the more affordable option and save up for the more expensive needles for real skin. Thank you so much for being here ✨

Hello so I am a 25+ years tattoo artist from the Bay Area sf area scrolling on RU-vid for normal tattoo videos I some reason saw your video so with respect let me say this- please please don’t be a tattoo artist do not, I have seen the trend wave so many people trying to learn the whole cutesy thing just really makes the industry shake with embarrassment to be a successful tattoo artist these days requires so so much from a traditional/ progressive standpoint this new cute wave of girls trying to teach themselves, will never last there just trends or just trendy content creators way of just making content I think that’s you since your sponsored as you mentioned a few times so literally it’s just for content. It also seems you have no history knowledge on tattooing which is not to be skipped it’s actually the 2st thing you need to learn before buying a rotory machine a real apprenticeship would never have you do so. Is your gonna tattoo please just don’t make content without knowing what your doing, 2/ get an apprenticeship with a walk in shop is a necessity that way you will come to an quick understanding that tattooing is not intended to be cute or for a fad. Please respect the tattoo industry.

Hey there, thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience. I respect your perspective, but I believe tattooing can be expressed in many ways-whether cute, soft, cozy, aggressive, bold, or however an artist chooses to represent their vision. The tattoo, art, and tech communities are evolving, just like any other, and personally, I appreciate that change. Growing up, I never felt completely welcomed in traditional tattoo shops, where the environment often felt more aggressive, dark, or bold-reflecting a certain 'manly' old-school aesthetic. From the interior design of the studios to the style of tattoos, it didn’t resonate with me. As for the sponsorships, creating videos sharing my art and experience is quite hard and time consuming mixing videography , photography and so many more art forms so having opportunities to get support while doing and staying true to my intentions is a win for me. For the past 10 years, I've been working as a traditional and digital artist, and for 4 years, I’ve designed over 200 tattoo designs that have been inked on people by artists across different areas,so please don’t be so quick to judge,I think there’s room for all styles in the tattoo world, and every artist should have the freedom to express their vision while respecting the craft. That said, I completely understand the importance of history, traditions, and foundations of tattooing but resources nowadays are far more accessible, online seminars and classes by top tattoo artists that can help every artist learn, whether they are new or seasoned. I appreciate your advice about apprenticeships and the need for hands-on learning in a real shop environment, and it’s a step moving forward but still I value my personal research and need to learn in a respectful way that also fits my needs. Thank you again for your input, and I hope we can both continue to contribute to the evolving tattoo community in our own ways, with respect for its roots and openness to its future.

Sorry for the long reply , but it’s an issue and a conversation that’s important and couldn’t express in a few words 🤍
