Hi there, I´m not sure if I got your point right: But when I stop the video at 2:20 the only biner I can see is the Petzl Balllock - an automatically locking safebiner - one of the best and safest locking biner I know. As you can see seconds later and earlier in the video this biner connects the tie-in-loop of your harness with the prusik…so it is very important to have a safe connection here! You also could do it without this biner and connect the prusik directly with the loop! Best, your ORTOVOX team

@@ortovoxsafetyacademy The top biner is Petzl Attache ScrewLock which has a red indicator when it is not screwed on. It shows at 2:21 and I think that feature is really good since it is really easy to spot unscrewed biners.

The top biner is only used for redirection, it's not mandatory to be locked. Very nice video btw.
