The "how did you tell your friends line" is great and I love it, but it is extra funny when you remember that Dirk *didn't* tell his friends. Jane was told by Roxy, Jake figured it out due to the autoresponder, and while I could see him coming out to Roxy in the more traditional way, when she talks about him being gay it's phrased in a way that makes me think that she just figured it out herself lmao

The Sprite^2s are implied to be super self-indulgent (even down to the color pallettes). And I think some of it is meant to poke at fanfic writers (especially the poking at incest themes since that isnt an uncommon thing in shipping fanfic. 35:51 "this is what the referance" is a reference to Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff. In one of the comics, they were doing the Charlie Brown football gag where the one girl takes away the foot all just before Charlie Brown kicks it, but Sweet Bro (i think?) kept flying into the air after missing the football. At the end, it showed the Charlie Brown comic with the text "this is what the referance" This is what the referance.

I really like Davepetasprite. THey say that as Davesprite they were depressed and i feel like Nepeta may have also had similar feelings, and they're both characters pretty much shafted by the story/paradox space.so seing how their fusion has made them happier is just nice to see. Its also kinda fun seeing Dave doing Nepeta things and/or Nepeta doing dave things. I also like the idea that nepeta pined for Karkat but beleived she could never be with him and Davesprite just didn't think he was worth being loved (hence him breaking up with Jade) but by becoming davepetasprite they can experience those things via their weird connection to thieir other selves, Nepeta being able to experience being in a relationship with karkat (as its implied Karkat is dating Dave and likely also potentially dateed Nepeta in doomed timelines) and Davesprite gets to exprience being loved in general, so as this combined being they are able to experience things they thought were impossible. I jut think its really neat how these two random ass characters combined in a way that makes them feel happier and fulfilled, plus the design (colours aside XP) looks sick as hell Also them feeling uniquely able and willing to fight lord english is likely ddue to the bullshit prophecy of dave being the one destined to kill Lord English and Nepeta being a troll which English hates (and also maybe cause this is a roundabout way of Nepeta getting revenge on Gamzee for killing her, since he ultimately was doing so in the name of Lord English, perhaps) also, asa trans, I I am tickled by th sheer GENDER of Davepeta c:

Seeing as you've finished homestuck at this point I just gotta say if you plan on exploring the homestuck franchise further I suggest you just do Hiveswap and end your journey there. I say this because the other pieces of homestuck media aren't good and I can't recommend you check them out unless you are absolutely fiending for more homestuck content regardless of quality.
