After 6 years, its time to move on. This boat has been a blast but I wanted to get something bigger. Luckily I am keeping the engine around as a back up for the new boat or for a new build (Maybee Drag car???)
Why would you have underdriven psi blower? Or Intercooler with a psi? If the boat was fast I imagine you wouldn’t want to sell the boat? I’ve seen steel head 468 make 1200hp with a psi.
Its overdriven by about 30%. The intercooler helps bring in cooler air because pump gas creates more heat. Never want to push a pump gas engine to high. A 540ci motor almost makes 1000 without a blower. It easily make 2000 with different fuel and a smaller pully.. that was not the goal with this boat
@@kristinejackson8268 V drives, are only out at 6am, I drove this boat on crowded holiday weekends and not a v drive in sight... Besides most V drive owners are cocky and think their shit don't stink. Id never buy one.
