I just picked up three boxes of vinyl as a job lot for a tenner. Sold about a third if them and I'm £500 up so far. One of the first sales was a first edition Ledd Zeppelin 2 and 3 at £70 and £160 respectively. First time I ever listed vinyl. It won't be the last.
Thanks for the advice I’m currently selling some of my old stuff on eBay never done anything like it before. Old top trump cards, vhs, magazines etc and i was wondering what resellers used to package I’m not doing this as a business but would rather move my old school days stuff to someone who would appreciate it so this has given me some ideas. I do get a lot of cardboard as I use it down my allotment so good thoughts I’m still trying to get my head around the various p&p stuff as well cheers 🍻
I sure hope you two get a chance to get on with out a pile of drama you have a busy enough life with out all the hoopla..just enjoy your day. Thank You for all my. Entertainment . 👍👍💚❤️🤗🥰
Hi nick .. it’s interesting to see you dealing in records I saw your interview with John the brum reseller . I think your pricing seems competitive. I buy vinyl from boot sales every weekend . I sensed that you’re enjoying dealing with records as you have a background in record shops etc .. best wishes rob
Hi nic and Andrea, I’ve been watching your channel for some time now, I’ve just started reselling on eBay and got my first sale about 2 weeks ago, it was a Pokemon card but PayPal are still holding my money, do you know how long they usually do this for ?
wont be long.. if you can get delivery confirmed they usually release faster too iirc :) next time around its good... i panicked too once as my 1st was almost 40quid 😧 took a week but initially they said like 3 weeks 😂
If you're new to ebay and haven't provided tracking details then they usually hold your money for 21 days. If you did provide tracking, then they'll release your money 4 days after its shown as "delivered". Once you make a few sales, they'll no longer put your money on hold since they'll know you're a trusted seller.
Which couriers do you use in general? I used to use Hermes but had some bad experiences where the drivers were signing for them and saying they were delivered leaving no leg for me stand on when claiming. Now I just stick mainly to Royal Mail ... costs more but never had any issues and when I have had to claim for loss/damage, never had any hassle
I love tusk, it is one of my all time favourite albums. I have been buying a few Fleetwood Mac/ Lindsey Buckingham albums lately. I might have to buy tusk again.
Erasure and Depeche Mode limited editions L12 are worth a good bit some of them over £100 each and the Extra limited editions are very collectable XL12 as are the white labels, coloured vinyls and promos! If you have a copy of Heavenly Action (Yellowbrick mix) L12 I would be more than interested its the only one I dont have!
I am so glad You price Your records on condition. I am sick to death of finding a Single (single collector) and I look at the Picture of It, and It looks VG+ to Mint. At the right price. and You receive It a few days later, and It Is Trashed. Because they have used a Image off the 45cat Site or Discogs. Or what I would consider a Trashed record, and they still want a top price for It. Well done for that.
I'm already a seller on ebay, but I've decided I want to cut down my vinyl collection and sell a fair few of them. I do have a question though. Is it worth buying vinyl sleeves to put them in, or do you just ship them as they are?
@@oceansyes i would just make as many pics as u can and tell them its used. For 7 inch singles I used to put them in cardboard to cover the vinyl with cover and then place in a jiffy bag. I ve sold 13 records and not had a return. I never sold a 12 inch record or anything of that size
How much will that postage be for the vinyl stack. Thanks to your videos I've started selling but made some mistakes with postage. Can you do a video on that please. Thanks
Good question.... probably Walking in my Shoes 12" singles and In Your Room 12" singles, in fact any 12" singles from Songs of Faith and Devotion! I thiknk my most treasured DM item is not a rare item, but the 7" single of Enjoy The Silence I bought back in 1990, it is the record that introduced me to the band....
