Posting a little late today because yours truly had to re-shoot. Apparently my DSLR was too tired to record the audio for the second half of may original video. But, my loss is your gain. My first go ‘round I only made one sandwich with Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna. But I figure hey, if I have to do it over, why not try all four flavors that my man David from Seltzer’s sent out? So yeah, making four half sandwiches today featuring Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna,Sweet Lebanon Bologna, Sweet Chipotle Lebanon Bologna, and Double Smoked Lebanon Bologna. This is gonna be tasty. By they way, Seltzer’s Smokehouse is a 120 year old business that is still family run. How cool its that?

There have been so many interesting ingredients in your videos that when I first thought you said “lemon bologna” my reaction was just, “huh, never heard of that, I wonder how it tastes.”

Fried bologna with a runny egg and maybe bacon is a good cheap breakfast. Ive never tried honey mustard. Or seen those fancy bologna.

Living in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia to be exact we can get Lebanon baloney sliced here at the deli. Some here seem to confuse this with regular baloney, Google it. You'll be surprised to learn they're 2 different things. There was also an episode of Dirty Jobs that takes you through the process of making it. 😊 It's also made in Lebanon Pennsylvania hence the name.

I love Lebanon baloney and ofcourse Lebanon, PA...I used to go to the Lebanon baloney fest! I only ate Lebanon baloney as a kid, and cold on white bread with mustard for lunch, I’ll definitely have to branch out and try it grilled mmm ❤

So many things you can get - or could get - only in Philly, Philly outskirts, South Jersey… lebanon bologna, Taylor pork roll, scrapple, creamed chipped beef on toast, sticky buns, an authentic Philly steak sandwich or hoagie, only decent crab cakes north of Maryland, hot dog with a fish cake, tastycake, Basset’s ice cream, Italian roast pork with broccoli rabe and provolone…

@@jessewolf7649I feel like I haven't seen Lebanon Baloney in a while, but Tastycake products and Scrapple are widely available in Pittsburgh, as well. In fact, I'm going to buy some scrapple when I head to the store, today.

@@norwoodwildlife9849 Lebanon Bologna is more like salami. If you like the Oscar meyer Bologna. This is different but still very very good. Even better then Oscar meyer. 100% beef. Company’s started 1902 not as old as Oscar but still old world quality meats.

I'm from PA and I used to always call it "lemon bologna" because I thought that's what everyone was saying for the longest time. The sweet bologna is my favorite, but I haven't seen the chipotle or double smoked one before. I'd definitely like to look into those. But it was cool to see something from home!

So speaking of Pennsylvania, I went to pat’s steak sandwiches in Philadelphia because I always wanted to try the original Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was good, but I had tried so many Philly cheese steak sandwiches at that point that it wasn’t anything special, even though it was the original. Not that this is relevant to your video other than Pennsylvania, I just wanted to share a story about sandwiches and Pennsylvania with a guy who likes sandwiches. Thanks for the great videos.

@@SandwichesofHistory OK I'm going to share my favorite sandwich, sub, hogie, or Hero. I get a good loaf of Italian 🥖 bread, split and lightly toasted. Thin layers of the following on the bottom part of the bread. 1- roasted red pepper 2- fresh mozzarella cheese 3- fried slice peeled breaded eggplant 🍆 4- good deli ham 5-Genoa salami 6-sweet Sopressata 7- Real Capicola 8-Prosciutto 9- spicy real Capicola 10- paper thin tomato 🍅 11- fresh arugula 12- sprinkle of red wine vinegar on the top part of the 🥖 bread. I prefer sesame seeded bread. Hope you like it and hope you share it. I also think that the Reuben sandwich is overrated. Happy eating ✝️✌️🥖
