Semeru volcano, located in East Java, Indonesia, unleashed a devastating pyroclastic flow following a violent eruption, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The scorching avalanche of gas, ash, and volcanic debris surged down the slopes of the volcano, engulfing several villages in its path.
The communities were quickly transformed into a desolate landscape, as homes, infrastructure, and farmland were buried under layers of ash and debris.
