Sen. Lindsey Graham defended attacked Democrats for being what he called 'hypocrites' about Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh during the first day of confirmation hearings, and said if 'you can't lose the election and pick judges.
I agree with the spirit of his comment. People should be more careful about crossing lines for a short term gain. Problems need solutions and disagreement are unavoidable, just as temporary bouts of frustration, so it is all the more important that we all agree to a set of rules for governing the process of attending to problems. It's not that a time to see that ends justify means. This will not produce concensus if not by force and we all stand to loose from it. This is a message for everyone, including the majority: it is a fact, a simple consequence of entropy, that nobody is untouchable forever. Don't be the man who set the precedent who will be used against you. I feel compeled to add that we are most often blind to our our own problems, so it might be worth pointing out both parties at times behave in an uncivil fashion that sheds doubt on the institutions that allow Americans to move solutions forward and resolve disputes with words rather than violence.
Prove that Kav is a criminal or a liar. You and the Dems, can't, and haven't. Kav doesn't have to prove he's innocent, they do. They haven't, and expect that we should believe their convoluted lies. The goal posts are always moving.

And before you throw out that the economy has never been better under Trump, when you look at job growth and unemployment, wages and taxes, the only thing that Trump has done is given himself and his friends, donors, and elite base millions in cuts while giving us regular middle-lower class citizens seemingly pennies on the dollar. Oh by the way, those pennies will turn into dollars flowing in the opposite direction in a few years, whereas he and his fat cat friends have tax cuts guaranteed for the duration of the bill which will add trillions to the deficit. The real job growth and economy booming started under the efforts of Obama, but most of the Trump supporters are too short sighted or narrow minded to remember that under Bush we were heading into a major recession, if not outright depression. Obama was the one to lead us out of it and into a healthier, more stable economy. Now with all the tariffs and trade wars, tax cuts aimed at corporations and the 1%, Trump has made it clear he's keeping up with the Republican status quo of torpedoing the economy directly after a Democratic president started to build it back up. I guess I can't blame Trump...buying an election wasn't cheap and he plans to make a major return on investment, and you better damn well know that if Obama or Clinton had tried to pull the same schemes Trump is pulling, there would be outright riots on the senate floor to tear them from office. Here's the problem, Chairman Grassley asked the dems/left that there was at least 10,000 documents to review but not one Dem showed up to read them . And now, they are complaining that not all documents have been released. Ok, if they were worried that " something" was being covered up, then why not read the 10,000 documents already released. Just wait, if and when them other documents are available, the Dems will surely find other things to stall the confirmation. They are on record already saying that not one Dem will confirm the Judge, NONE!!!! So what's the point?
