Try some of the other tracks, such as “Spiral of Erebos” (Sen 3) and “Blue Destination” (Sen 2). There are what feels like hundreds more amazing songs from this series, though.
well...ima say that this is a step up from at least the first game. i dont particularly find the Cold steel tracks as good as the Sky tracks, and definitely not Sky the 3rd . but from cold steel 3 it seems to pick up i will admit. hadnt heard all of CSIV. this is definitely good though
@@Shinstrikex then you obviously haven't listened to many tracks in the cold steel series tie a link of arcus especially the super arranged verison is the king of CS 1 then you have other tracks in CS 1 like don't be defeated by a friend, to grasp tomorrow,decisive collision not to mention the opening atrocious raid,the great power,glint of cold steel, belief and so much more. you are sleeping on these tracks if you don't think they are at least as good as the previous ones and don't even get me started on CS 2 with stuff like severe blow, blue destination, bring up trust etc.
Yeah. And to me, the battle themes get more and more epic every game as you go from 1 to 4. I'm getting chills listening to this right now - this whole series has the most unbelievable soundtrack.
That moment when you start Trails of Cold Steel 4, see a lot of old characters return, hop into battle and this BGM plays and you listen to it for 3 hours straight because it sounds so goddamn good, Falcom absolute legends!
It feels more like a boss battle theme like belief from sen 1 but I LOVE IT This theme was incredible when I first listened to it but it manage to grow on me even more. This is the first time in my whole life that this kind of thing has happened to me

Juna's gemini blast first, Kurt's rain Slash goes second, for the third Altina's brionac, and lastly the finale ogre Rean goes helix. Really a satisfying feeling whenever a battle ends fast and with this music playing as the bgm.
Playing through 8 games of pure amazing build-up and worldbuilding was worth it. This theme is so satisfying to hear. I'm still on Act 3, playing through Nightmare mode for my first run, and this theme carries me through the unexpectedly tough normal encounters.
Wow what a journey. Seeing class VII be born and grow into the elite world saving unit it became was really special. Not to mention the it all culminating in this ultimate crossover event in the end. Cold steel is my favorite connected rpg series I would say.
Sounds similar to the Avengers. In fact, this series has four games like the Avengers have 4 movies. Also, the 3rd ended on a cliffhanger like how Infinity War ended.
Something that i find kinda of cool.. Is that the final battle theme for the Cold Steel series, is first heard when the party members are the protagonists of the other arcs
This is the first game that i ever came across and after finishing it once doing as much as i possibly could without a guide, i cant replay it instantly like the other Trails games. I just couldnt handle the feels of everything hitting deep down again after the happy ending. Its been nearly 2 months now and i still cant handle the feels if i start it up.
3ish weeks till the PC port comes out, trying to finish up the crossbell arc before then. Damn im looking forward to this game, to think i started cold steel 1 at the beginning of the year during the steam sale and have almost blazed through the entire series after years of not being able to finish games because I'd lose interest.
Wow I just started CS4 and i'm only 7hrs in and I already love this new battle theme so much it might possibly be my favourite out of the 4 games. Love how each battle theme represents the situation they're in
Really like this battle theme, pretty fitting for the final chapter for Cold Steel. Can't wait to replay 2nd game on Ps4 while waiting for the 3rd game (and maybe Zero?)
I wouldn't expect the Crossbell games before CS3 and 4, but if you aren't aware there is a group called Geofront that is working on a translation of Zero right now that is on par to the quality XSEED does and implementing a whole bunch of improvements such as turbo mode and graphics updates. They should be done sometime next year, I highly suggest you check it out! They have a few demo videos out already =)
Oh I'm one of the very few who is still banking on official Crossbell releases. I believe in the Crossbellian dream! I just don't see it happening until CS 3 and 4 are out though
I know its the same composer but man parts of this really remind me of Sunshine Coastline from Ys VIII. Probably the best track ever to start a game with.
Hell yeah! CS4 is out baby! But because I preordered it digitally, I can't play it. It doesn't matter for me because I can only play friday so I hope the problem is solved by friday. Also NISA acknowledging Unisuga greatness by putting this track on the final trailer.
@@CS2Malk I just feel sad for people who's experience might be tainted. I've reached the 3rd act and gotten partyway through that and honestly, I'm in love. The game has been amazing, the story has been wonderful. I'm just so happy to be playing this. I was initially a bit scared after seeing one review call the cold steel series a mistake, but i couldn't disagree more after this experience :). But i digress lol, the digital sales are fixed i think? Or is the dlc still not working?
@@k.s854 I don’t think I’m a good choice for asking because I’m hella biased, but I loved it. It slowed down the pace a bit to be sure, but I liked having all these side characters get development. It’s not the strongest act out of the 3 but I felt like it was a necessary breather from the tense act 1. For me it was the character development that made all the difference. It will definitely feel stretched to some though. I beat the game in around 60 hours but it could easily go much longer! I would go in with a positive outlook :).
Putu Weda Santika if you did some extra quests, and talked at some unnecessary times you would get some extra dialogues and quests. I don’t remember if you would get any items tho

Honestly I haven't gotten to rean yet in the switch's cs4, but I would assume this would play if new (maybe old as well) class vll had to fight a fully deamonized Rean when they find him
