Just hearing the start of the song, it already gave that Erebonia battle theme feeling. It even sounds like Brave Steel and Burning Throb mixed together.
I'm still amazed by how Falcom can never have bad music. The worst you can get by Falcom is "yeah it's alright". Thanks to this half my playlist is Legend of Heroes and Ys music. XD
I'd say they have had some bad stuff (Raging Rush, Blue Stardust, Fateful Confrontation EVO, Troublemaker, a lot of the Ys V stuff) but their quality is typically far above pretty much every other game company. And their good far outweighs the handful of bad stuff.
@@MaskedKingDavid I like a lot of Metal so I didn't mind some of those tracks. I actually like Raging Rush, I like the 1st half of Blue Stardust, until the synth kicks in... Fateful Confrontation EVO wouldn't have been that bad, but considering how good the original one was, I'll agree with that. I guess I didn't notice that much with Ys V since I had a lot of fun with it. But I think the best way to explain it is that I've never had to turn the music off in Falcom games because it was annoying or just that terrible. The worst I'd get to is "it could be better, but it's alright." Maybe its just my music tastes but yeah XD
Cold Steel 2 is where I really started to love Rean and he’s been more of a fantastic character in CS3/4, but Hajimari no Kiseki just solidifies him as one of the best protagonists ever.
ok this is awesome. I'm just at the approaching the end of CSIV and my hype for Hajimari is rising. I'm excited about Crossbell bc I want to learn about Lloyd and his crew before playing Hajimari and I'm more interested in him after playing CSIV. This theme is awesome and sounds like a true mix of CSI-IV battle themes. Burning throb was my fav CS battle theme and this embodies that vibe beautifully.

Well, NIS America will probably make the crossbell arc into english before hajimari because of the fact that save data from Ao no kiseki can be transferred over.
I hope that after i finish trails of cold steel 4 and feel the euphoria of ending that story, we find out they were also working on this straight away to bring here in the west because I need trails in my life every year lol.
If my source is correct, which she told me they began working on IV as soon as III went into the post production phase and was slated for a 2nd half of 2020 release before Trails III was released and also told me some of the new voice talent they had hired for the New Class VII the week before they announced them, then after Y's IX they are putting all Falcom teams into working on AO and Zero and pushing for a Christmas (at earliest) 2021 to spring 2022 release for them. It hasn't officially been talked about internally if they will be working on Hajimari but they only plan 1 fiscal year ahead and won't begin planning til at least February of 2021 but she did say NISA is basically handling the rest of Falcom's games until further notice.
@@KiboCae Interesting! I sure hope your source is correct! I'm not super up on all the versions of AO and Zero; what versions do you think they would be porting? Weren't they originally PSP titles? I imagine they were remade for other systems, though. I sure hope NISA can justify officially bringing Crossbell over., and that those games' general "oldness" doesn't stop them from being a good investment. NISA proved itself with CS3, not to mention their redo of the YS VIII translation, so I'm all in on their ability to handle these games.
@@RyanBancroft Well, now we gave confirmation that Crossbell, Hajimari and even Nayuta are all getting localised. In about two years, but for me that's fine. I still got all of Cold Steel and Ao to play through.
@@Nikita_Akashya Yes, so excited! I could hardly believe my eyes when I witnessed that marvel. I actually heard of it through the Geofront as I'd been following their patching process. We'll finally have the whole Zemurian saga in English, officially. So momentous. :)
Rean's character may not be anything extraordinary on paper but he's easy to love after following him over the course of 4+ games. He can be very relatable too.
To me it sounds like a mix of all 4. The Glint of Cold Steel, Heated Mind, Brave Steel, and Burning Throb, with a hint of Belief in there. Since this is the last game with Rean as a main focus, it feels like this battle theme was meant to be a big sendoff of sorts, and it excels in that regard, on top of being a banger.
Rean route? I should read up more on this game. Incredible track and great drums, been a fan of Falcom's music since the 1980's and never been let down.
Yeah, easily. He's the only one to be the protagonist of at least three games(then a fourth, then his own route in this game). He's the Trails series' most developed/featured protagonist to date, and so much of it shows. He's also the most capable protagonist by far. Like...by a lot.

I will never not choose Team Rean when given the option to do so. Our blessed friendly boy Whenever Rean is not on screen, every other character should be asking "where is Rean?" Also, I believe Rean should have access to a time machine
So let me get this straight... CROSSBELL's battle theme is represented by Sonoda-san's music (formerly by Momiyama Saki-san) Erebonia's battle theme is represented by Unisaga-san's music.. I wonder who's music represents the Sinners's route..
People will tell you that he is Rufus, Rean, but C but these characters are shown in the same scene as C, so no. Some say it is the physical manifestation of dark Rean. Some say Kevin Graham. Some say Cedric Arnor (but I don't think Cedric is that tall). Open to speculation.
Edit: Rean vs C fight was revealed in which Jusis breaks C's mask. It is indeed Rufus. But this means there are two Rufus Albarea. One of them is a clone. The one masquerading as C is the real Rufus. Also you fight half the battle as C and co. With Rean and old C as bosses. Halfway through, it changes to you fighting C, now the boss, as Rean and co.
