This ost fits perfectly for normal battle theme because it feels fast-paced, telling you to just finish the battle as fast as possible and continue onward
Finally! Now that Cold Steel 3 is out I can start listening to this on RU-vid! This one's definitely a grower. Really wasn't keen at first and now it's one of Falcoms best in my opinion.

I haven't heard this theme for some time having played through and recently finishing ToCS IV. That one is good but I forgot how energetic and fast-paced this one is. They're both good in their own ways which is for the best.
Currently playing the second game and the first half bored me and took me a month to pick it back up only to blaze through the second half in a couple weeks. Love this series so far.
I’m currently waiting for Azure to release on Switch before starting the Cold Steel games but this popped out while I was listening to Trails soundtrack on Spotify and for some reason it makes me emotional. I haven’t even started ANY Cold Steel games why am I like this 😂

I keep hearing that Azure has an amazing ost and so far I haven't felt it. Though I'm still in chapter 2 to be fair. I just liked CS1's and Zero's osts more
I can't wait to finally continue this amazing rpg series on the Switch! EDIT: Never mind, it's coming to pc. I want all my games in one place and Cold Steel 4 being on the pc seems like a safer bet than on the switch so if I get the Switch version I might not be able to transfer my save.
@@Blues2Dark Turns out it was safe and I was worried for nothing. Cold Steel IV is coming to the Switch and Cold Steel I and II can't transfer data to III and IV so it's fine to get the Switch versions as long as you get III and IV on the same system.
I'm curious about getting them for Switch one day so I could play them on the go. I'm not sure I'll ever have the time to play through them again given their length though (perhaps I will look at getting CSIII and IV if they ever get cheaper (unlikely)).
Over here like..just started ToCS2. I can't wait to get to the 4th. First game drained me lol I hope there is that lore building but man I needed more action near the end. Well if anything I hope there's something keeps me reving my engine all through out part 2.
TOCS1 was meant to be a slow start, but things get pretty big around TOCS2 and not to mention the ending of it. It will be a great experience once you finally reach TOCS4.
@James When you get to Ao, oh man, what a damn good game. Sky = best characters Zero/Ao = best story Cold Steel = best gameplay ^In my opinion of course.
@@miguelgonzalez6495 I just finished Ao last night and I have to agree with this it was an fantastic game and it is as of now my favourite in the series so far. Now i'm going to replay CS 1-3 before going to CS4

@@buttertoast1146 Honestly I hear you on that. I'm really looking forward to 4 because it's going to tie to conclusion all three of the Trails arcs and I can't wait to see Joshua and Estelle again. But I agree that 3 felt kind of underwhelming. One of the things that is bothering me about Kiseki in general right now is that the writers don't seem to adequately respect the power levels of the characters they have written for themselves. In each new Cold Steel game, the in-universe "strongest," people keep getting redefined as soon as someone else crawls out of the woodwork, and it feels like it hurts the plot to me. I won't go into detail about it, but if they could make up their minds about who is actually the #1 fighter and stop retconning it by constantly introducing, "the newest best fighter," maybe they could have a better story going. That's just how I feel though. I still can't wait for CS4 because no matter how Falcom sticks to their formula, we're pretty much guaranteed to get questions answered and closure for Olivier, the SSS, and Erebonia in general.
I have an idea, why don't you guys when you release your Japanese version put an option for English subtitles? its hard to wait so much for cs4 and hajimari its unfair.
@@babatundeismail6732 yeah but cs4 has been out for a while in the japanese market, they can do what other publishers do and make an international release 1 time, most people only listen to japanese VA anyway so its kinda fair.
@@Walamonga1313 Look man, I like Unisuga's work I really do and the battle themes he made for Sen 3 and 4 are great...but they aren't better than Get Over the Barrier and Seize The Truth
@@shadowthelegend100 Seize the Truth is okay. Getting over the Barrier is good, but I like Sky 3rd’s battle theme more. Probably my fav in the series though I’m still playing through to see if CS1-4 battle themes are better. I really like CS1’s so far Ok so my complete battle theme ranking is Hajimari > CS3 > Sky 3rd > CS1 > Zero > CS4 > Azure > Sky FC > CS2 > Sky SC
If trail fan you will play trail of sky 1.2.3 trail of zero ,ao and trail of cool steel 1.2.3.4,i play gen 1-now is still hype story is too maasive impressed
I agree with you but CS3 had some really nice tracks as well like Spiral of Erebos. But overall yeah 1 and 2 music is better, however CS3 is the best game in the arc tho in my opinion

one day pearl will be respected personally feels this fit the games meaning,the piano is basically rean depression while the guitars and violins are Kurt and juna helping rean out.
Freddy Martinez I don't really like Heated Mind or this one tbh They still haven't topped Glint of Cold Steel The intro to a generic battle theme means a lot, and this takes a bit to sound alright It's okay, but not super great
i been playing the japanese version and i gotta say (this is My opinion of course) the music is NOT That great as the first 2 games when i was playing the first 2 i cant even remember how many times i just stopped playing and shut up just to hear the music some themes were soo damn good that i didnt wanted the fights to end (looking at you Tie a Link of Arcus (red chest) ) in this one even though it has some good ones not even once this has happened to me which is sad :(
Really like not even the ouroboros boss theme or even solid as the rock of juno, I do agree that some of the ost don't live up to the previous two games, but there were a few tracks that were pretty damn good
