Oh, BTW... In most languages I’ve heard, E is usually pronounced as “Eh. “I” is the vowel that usually is pronounced as “Eee.” This goes for all the Latin languages as well as Germanic (I believe.) Obviously dialects of English can go both ways, even though a “e” at the end generally will make an “e” pronounced as “Eee.”
"Say a command" -> "Stereo" *BEEP* "Say a command" -> "Stereo Music" *BEEP* "Say a command" -> "Stereo" *BEEP* "CANCELED!" It is sooooooo damn annoying!
New subscriber here. Just wanted to say hi from Michigan and tell you that I'm enjoying your videos. Just in case you're homesick, it's supposed to be 12° Friday morning!
there is one thing you need to about the iPhone:if you had video played recently on your iphone (youtube facebook etc)none of the hands free devices (bluetouth) wont be able to turn music on (play your music) even if you restart your iPhoneso the hands free device will only play music if had music playing on your iPhone beforebut lets say if went to facebook and saw a video, you watched it that's it it wont play your music. that's an issue that wasn't able to fix for many years nowit might by fine with an android
For music I always tap the phone button once and voice command (to phone), 'shuffle music'. I do it that way because my phone is often muted at work/school.
I have a 10c. Cant seem to play music on the speakers. Im connected via bluetooth. Can play the FM. I havent updated the firmware and not installed micro sd.
Hi Bryan, I'm looking at getting the Sena 20C mainly for music because my earbuds are killing me (hurts my ears) on long rides. I've heard that these are not very loud or that they lack bass, what's your opinion of the bluetooth audio? Secondly, I'd like to be able to record audio for my GoPro using the Sena 20C, is this what you use for audio, or do you use a wired mike? Thanks again for the great video. Let me know if you ever make down south to Fort Lauderdale / Miami area, I know some great rides around here. Take care. Andy
Sena 20s + BMW Navigator V1 - some of the most irritating, inconsistent motorcycles riding I have ever had... Three times, it’ll work perfectly, then the next ride, nothing is talking to anything - god it’s irritating...
Are the factory speakers hard wired or can they be unplugged and other speakers plugged in instead? I know the 20s comes with an extra ear bud jack but I don't plan on using the factory speakers at all (after reading reviews).
Hey thanks for your help and insight. I could use a little help re mp3 to sena, from go pro direct audio and back again .i have managed to pair go pro direct audio and need to figure out getting back to mp3 as well. No phone or intercom as I have no need for them now. Thanks
Hi, thanks very much for your videos. This was good, but didn't realize that you didn't have an example of an android interface until the end..... lol, still the video was helpful.
W Smith There's no difference in the pairing or operation on the com side. The weirdness of how to start playing might be iPhone specific but that's it.
When u play music, I would be concerned about using an enormous amount of data usage & the cost associated w/that. However, it would seem to me that if ur playing music that has been previously downloaded 2 your phone, there would be no data drain & that would be a non problem? Do you agree w/that? Great video! Thanks! Subscribed.
+Tom Bousquet Streaming music doesn't use much data at all, I stream a lot and it doesn't use much with Apple Music. (I have high quality on cellular on)
higher treble if you're trying to look for bass. I just got a 30K (same speakers) and love my bass, always used Klipsh or sennheiser earbuds, but these lack the boom and thump. Soundstage is great, left right stereo sound fantastic, but no booming bass.
It’s good enough for me during an around the town ride. Bass isn’t too heavy but at high rpm’s it isn’t loud enough. I turn it off during more spirited riding.
For the longest time the employees pronounced it as 'Seh-nah' on their videos. For the voice recognition they seemed to have come to a conclusion on calling it 'See-na'. Still only part way through your vid - which is well made bud, but curious if you have figured out how to lower the lady voice/beeps so it's not crazy loud. Also, how do we play music while chatting on the intercom?!? It's a feature that eluded me!!
This system is the classic example of the old saying....you can't put ten pounds of crap in a five pound bag. It seems SENA wants to provide it all but in doing so, it has made the unit just too complicated.
Well-intentioned but far from accurate. The long press on the jog dial is for Pause/Play, hence why it will not fire up a music app. Somewhat amusing to see you working things out in the video. But try reading the manual or test the function multiple times before you decide to make an instruction video. If the Sena controls are too difficult (which they are) then just use Siri or Google voice commands - long press the phone button on the side of the Sena 20S and ask Siri or Google to play music, start navigation, or whatever. Much more flexible in terms of what commands it accepts. There is a downside though - Google assistant will not work without a reliable internet connection, which happened to me today and was not able to start music while riding. Hence why I searched for an alternative solution online and ended on this video. But I think I'll be sticking with Google assistant...
How do you skip/next song? It works great with my slacker radio on my Android phone. I just haven't been able to figure out how to skip to the next song.
Hey. I have a Sena 10c Pro. When I turn it on, it auto pairs to my iPhone and a Sena SR10 (for my Uniden R3 radar detector. Running through latest firmware for the 10c. Thing is, it always starts playing music from my iPhone. It’s maddening. Would someone please tell me how to stop the music without disabling the Bluetooth? Thank you in advance!
FYI. According to the manufacturer, it is called SENA. Not SEENA. It doesn't have 2 E's. Listen to the all the manufacturing tips on the SENA website and RU-vid. I am also a SENA product evaluator.
FYI it's both. I have interviewed employees back in the day that said SEE nah. They also produced a video on this very topic. Thanks for the failed correction attempt ;)
