russell armbruster She’s doing her job as a member of an oversight committee. She takes her job seriously and knows her stuff, and she’s on the side of actual people being trampled by “corporations are people” ripoffs.
@@russellarmbruster8484 And she would be a fabulous president! Her qualifications, according to you, match those of the current "present," so I should think you'd love her. LOL
Funny how she accuses others of the very things she's guilty of. She's a scumbag corrupt politician! Just like 90% of the 535 legislators in congress. www.boston.com/news/politics/2019/12/11/elizabeth-warren-corporate-legal-work
@@RosieChico52 I have to say, filling cases is ridiculous if the cases are without merits. Check how many high profile action cases were struck down by the courts (PPH) or Congress reversed (Dealer mark-ups). Both were phony cases. The discrimination case against Ally Financials was baseless. The government assumed those who opted for dealership rate, rather than a bank auto rate (which is a normal choice) were discriminated against because the dealer rate was a bit higher, and the government said they know the race and ethnicities of the customers base on algorithm and zip code. What an utter bullshit. Congress shutdown that case. Customers who want a faster deal can take the dealership offer. Those who want a bank-rate can take that rates. You shouldn't judge efficiency by the number of cases filed.
Yes, and the beauty of it is that it is a no-show job with good pay - and after that Big Finance will reward her for her excellent service. - O.K. she will move her behind in the office, but it is not as if she would put in the effort to get herself acquainted with her task. - That's a welfare queen, taking a handsome salary plus benefits. - She cannot be bothered to KNOW these numbers - of the activities in general under the Obama or the Trump admin. Imagine being 3 months in and no clue about the main successes of the agency and their main job (according to law). Nor could she be bothered to PREPARE for the hearing. What did she think was going to happen - with Warren among those who question her ? On the other hand - they do not even try to maintain appearances. One has to appreciate that the agency was started from scratch - 100 investigators I think (got that from a PBS interview) - they earned their keep that's for sure, recovering billions. She says that some law suits are pending. O.K. - I would have given the status of those. It is of course possible that the "industry" tones it down with the predatory practices when they know the agency is breathing down their neck. The few remaining banks are huge if they plan a scam it will always by systematic, widespread, well administrated. Which means that if the agency succeeds they can impose a hefty fine and recover a lot of money to the consumers. THEY get money from the fed to cover the costs for law suits. The companies have legal costs, the fines and then must return the money. Besides it is hard to villify an agency that makes banks pay back billions. Republicans villify it anyway, but it is easy to debunk. If the banks know that the admin supports the CFPB and they prey on consumers they cannot evade accountability. Which adds to the success list of the agency. Needless to say Corporate media is silent on this. They have to protect their advertisers.
Your absolutely CORRECT. I'M one of the consumers that lost my home. I was FORECLOSED on 2013 lost everything! @Senator Elisabeth Warren CFPB SUED MY mortgage company GREEN TREE SERVICES AND WON!! 63 million awarded for consumer REDRESS So let me get this straight? I make payments for 19years And GT tells me I don't qualify for a loan modification? GTS told me I had to pay for a loan modification! That was the false information and why GTS LOST THE LAW SUIT! Here's my question to YOU Senator Warren Where did the money for REDRESS to the CONSUMERS GO??? 63 million awarded I'll repeat that 63 million, 63.000,000 dollars and the CFPB sent me a check for 107.00 dollars?.. Again WHERE DID THE MONEY FOR REDRESS GO? Pfizer? I NEVER trusted The CFPB
I LOVE SENATOR WARREN... she is FANTASTIC because she stands for the average American people. We NEED people like her in a high place to protect the general Americans.
6:13 “If you had any decency, you’d either do your job or resign. *gives a look of disgust and pushes the mic away* Thank you Mr. Chairman” Such a badass
She did well. Though I would be pretty damn mad that the agency I created and put bloody sweat and tears into is now being run by someone trying to do little as possible in order to be ineffective.
If you are able, please donate to Sen. Warren's campaign for President. She is not accepting any corporate campaign money. My wife and I have made two donations of $50.00 each and will continue to do so as time moves along. I'm not patting myself on the back, I just really want her to win this thing and I'm hoping you do as well. The giving is crucial, not the dollar amount.
We know how she plays... First, she's a genteel lady, " come have tea" said the spider to the fly . Second, she lists the issues Third, " the knife in their back ; She machine- guns questions and expects an answer. Fourth, the Admonishment. and " embarrassment ".

Liz was and still is the overwhelming best person to be President. She has more brains, ideas, and good sense than anyone who ran, or is running today.. Its not even close.
Imagine knowing your job is to bullshit and having to go up against Warren. Warren does the work and it shows. I hope I have the opportunity to see her face Trump on a debate stage.
She is doing nothing - and after that she will be rewarded with a cushy position by Big Finance. And pretty shameless to take the salary for that. Welfare Queen.
From my experiences in business, it is management that pushes policies that entice employees to do wrong or face getting fired or no pay raises. Department stores demand employees push credit cards that customers don't want and must sell at least a certain number each month or face discipline. As a Biomedical tech I was pushed to sell prescription drugs to doctors offices or not get any advancement. I worked for a top 50 biggest corporation under contract to give biomedical services to hospitals which also produced drugs. I was required to do this on my time, at my expense just to get a small 'incentive'. I remember one cancer drug being pushed to doctor's offices for its side effects with no mention of its main purpose unless the included paperwork was read, which we techs were told to not mention. I refused and quit that corporation. This just one of many things I saw management do.
That’s all great but what happens once she’s shown to be incompetent? Does she lose her job? Fined? Jailed? Really, I’m not American, I genuinely want to know?
OUCH!! With that beat down I would've RESIGNED right there. If I did shit for 3 months on the job (while getting a pay check) I'd be charged with a crime, convicted, fined and thrown in jail.

Mr. Chairman, Thank you for the algorithmic initiation to appear before you today. The CFPB was prompt in responding to Banyan’s complaint against Bloomberg LP ™️. Therefore, I believe Senator Warren’s numerical public records are inaccurate. Thank you. Sincerely & Respectfully, R.W.N
uUiuuHuuuUu :O She should be prosecuted for that. I mean your job is to protect the working class and go after big corporations with ilegal business procedures and you don’t do NOTHING!!??
