This was great! Exactly what I needed help with. I was not able to figure out the calendar in the flow but adding an ics calendar invite to the response email was so much easier and worked perfectly! I have not used Flow before this attempt and don't have coding experience at all. I appreciate the visual steps, pace and not using the functions...smh, I don't get functions, yet.
Thank you and this is really helpful!! In your video you are putting up demo for one calendar invite, can I do the same one single MS Form w/multiple sessions selection w/multiple ics. calendar invite to responder?
This works a treat! thank you... but I wanted to ask, in the calendar invite, I attached a picture but that didn't come through. So I added a table with content and the content came through but not on the table, the words were listed one line by one line.
You use the desktop calendar to create the invite and ICS file and then you open your email in the web version of outlook, that's all nice and well, but when I open the email from my desktop version of outlook, I cannot add the invite to the calendar.
LOVE it! can you please give me some light/steps on how to do the same but in the MS form, put a calendar where the user can enter : Name , Email , date/time (Only Monday-Friday) is that possible?
Thanks for this. Can this be used if there were multiple options (different times/dates) in the form? And then you get an invite for whatever date/time you chose?
@@iamdhruvinshah thank you. Also, can I set up the email that is triggered to look like it was sent "on behalf of" someone else? It appears I can by expanding the advanced options, but it fails. Sorry I am not sure how to attach screen shot.
Is there a way to add .ics from certain email addresses to the calendar using that power automate thing? It does not give too many options and only allows to create an event in the calendar when .ics arrives. Regardless of what data is in .ics
Hi Dhruvin, thanks!! can you tell me where the dynamic version video is? my need is that, in microsoft forms : - user can choose to join differents webinars - i want to send them .ics for each webinars they've regsitered via microsoft Forms. thanks, best regards
Hello Dhruvin, I have a scenario to send invite to requestors submitting the form from multiple hosts based on the date selected. I have used create event v4 ti send invite to requestors email. The challenge I'm facing is invite being sent to requestors email and also to the connection (host added through the connections). Is there a way to stop email to the host and send only to the requestor ?
Hi Dhruvin Shah!! Thanks for the video and idea on sending ICS Calendar invite using Microsoft Power Automated. I have tried and tested it, I find out after receiving the email invite with attached ICS calendar invite. My attached ICS Calendar invite does not have the button where I can just click once and it will be in my calendar. How do I get that ?
Dhruvin Shah After I complete everything, the person who receive then ICS invite has to double click it then it open window appointment. Receiver has to click on ‘Save&Close’ in order to attach the appointment into the calendar. Yours, you just click one time on the ICS invite and it pluck into your calendar
