Shoutout to the actor (plucked off the street) that hid in a bathroom for 30m, was sprayed with whiskey, sky dived, then immediately at touch down sprinted to hide in the bathroom again
@@lauralishes1 skydiving is not that expensive? What third world country are you from that you need to take a second mortgage out on your house to skydive?
@@belf16 true but I somehow didn't get the impression of her being somehow amazed and thankful enough for it. Like she didn't show that she knew what it would really mean for him to do that... thats the impression I got but I did see it ages ago now.
I actually think it was incredibly sweet that he pointed out that she’s a new mom and she has a whole other side to her personality and the fun side and he wanted to try and do something fun with her how freaking sweet
its bs if he's so afraid of heights that an escalator is a problem the wife has NO business to ask for skydives😂🙈 horrible I wouldnt press a "normal" person with no fear to do it, she went the other mile and asked it to an acrophobe. crazy crazy crazy no love just "me me me"
i mean technically, he was sky diving with the diving instructor, so the husband would have been diving with the same stranger. They just dove withitn proximity of each other but they did it individually. That's why it worked. She wasn't Tandem with her Husband, she could have done this all along.
I guess it's about creating this magical moment for his wife. Rather then not wanting to go and so preventing her. He'll probably just tell her after. He's that kind of guy.
@@Relic_of_You Some people have a look about them that is inherently British in traits. If you know or have been around enough British or English people, you'd just know. Otherwise this statement won't make much sense.
The fact that he said all the sweet things and acted like he would face his fears to make her happy when he was planning this all along is so sad. She was also so sweet when they announced it, instead of just being like "YAYY WE'RE DOING IT" she kept thinking about him and asking if he was sure that he could do it 😔
How messed up would it have been if the actor’s chute didn’t open and she thought she just watched her husband die in front of her eyes only to land and find out it was all just a joke, and her husband was still alive, but the actor actually did die...
@@paulperez2005 oh jeez, it would be the best dumpster fire on the internet if it managed to go horribly wrong and we were putting RIP in the comments lol.
Right? Her life long dream and she wanted to share it with her significant other. Instead she shared it with someone who could muster the courage for it thinking her and her husband overcame such a task
@@angeldreamzzz9692 it's straight up weird to do this tbh, i really don't know if i could. Especially if it was my dream. But hey some people draw lines in the sand where others don't
Some people are just not ok with jumping out of airplanes. There is nothing wrong with that. It's actually kind of sweet that he didnt want to ruin her dream so he came up with a way to make it still happen despite bot wanting to jump. It's not that serious guys.
I mean, if she managed to live with him being afraid of heights, I feel like she'll still feel somewhat okay because hey, she got to do what she wanted to do..
Lol I like how he asks “is that even possible” before he makes it happen This is really sweet considering he did all this to help her get out of some postpartum funk
@@dedysaputra526 that makes no sense at all. Now you're talking about some slavery type stuff here. You're going to force someone who looks like you to give you half of their wages while you sit on your ass? Lmao
I’ve watched Vice for so long & have never head of this series, I’m so glad I stumbled across it because it’s amazing & I’ve been bingeing it ever since!
Yeah man... Fked up. Lol. He might as well banged her best friend. Imagine if she see's this? He lied and embarrassed her and 200k to over a million people will see this. Lol.
Or You just accept the fears your husband has and Not Talk him into doing basically the worst activity for someone with fear of heigh but hey thats prolly just me
But like, this is a lifelong dream for her and she’s so proud of him for getting past his fears to make that dream come true. I would feel awful finding out that my partner did that. And vice versa, I’d feel awful for doing that to my partner. This just kinda makes me sad.
People think this is horrible but my husband is deathly afraid of heights and I'd rather him plan this out to allow me to fulfill my dream than say no and me never get to do it lol its adorable and creative
That doesn't make you horrible. It is a kind gesture on his part, but the thing is, He was not holding her back. She was. Because she thought she HAD to do it with her hubby, she was allowing herself to make him the barrier and that is unfair to him. That he went through all of that so that she could have the experience that she truly wanted but didn't think she deserved shows that he thought she deserved it whether or not he was with her. Relationships are great but it doesn't mean you have to do literally "everything" together for it to work. If you loved your husband as much as this man loves his wife, you should let him know you love him despite his fear of heights and that you want him to be there , on the ground safely and confidenlty, when you land to to give you a big hug and say how proud he is of YOU!

The 209,000 kraken of indictments are coming down. Heads are gonna roll and people will be led away in handcuffs. Why do you think Mark Esper was replaced? Why do you think Trump will not give Biden any security briefings? Hmmmm....bc this coup they tried to pull will be their demise. May George Soros be the top of the list on people who will die IN PRISON. He's ruthless and has to be stopped.
Im tall and I always thought of it like taller people are father from the ground and its scarier cuz of that? Idk but im scared of heights too and wear glasses so-
This is an interesting thought. I’m 6.2” and I’ve got glasses and I don’t like unsafe high places but if I’m buckled or somehow secured it’s not really a problem. I never counted skydiving as a problem with heights tho as it’s so much different than standing on a silo ladder.. Idk it’s by far not as scary imo
@@clivelambert-oe7kg he clearly didn't think that one through. What happens when said wife is horny and wants to get her freak on thinking it's you? Then she's getting porked while you're out with your "boys" like a 15 year old lmao
"Im too scared to skydive with my wife so Im gonna trick her and send a look alike of me instead" wonder what type of relationship this two have, if any at all.
It would have been funny if it didn't mean that much to her. I originally thought it's just a thing she wanted to try, but then she told the whole story about how she wanted to do it whole her life and she was inspired by her dad. Big yikes.
Probably not one that will last happily if he's willing do go to insane levels of deception just b/c he's too scared to tell his wife how he feels. Makes you wonder what else he's lied to her about.
@Cain Lol I could be wrong, none of us know them. It's just a comment.🤷🏽♀️ I only said it b/c some stuff is a good indication of character, and if he's that much of a coward in real life it will bite him in the but at some point. The video is meant to be fun for Oobah and us, but that doesn't change the fact that the people who actually want the service his app provides don't have serious personality flaws that will bite them in the butt at some point in life. You can see that in his other video like this where a deeply insecure guy hires Oobah to find a double to go to his high-school reunion in his place to make his old friends believe he's more handsome now, and has a "cooler" life than he feels he actually does. It's really light subtext, but beyond the jokes you can tell Oobah thinks these people who actually go through with this service have some real thinking to do. Still funny though🤣
Like on the one hand, absolutely scummy for him to send someone else in his place, but on the other its HER dream, but HIS nightmare, why in the hell can't she do just do it herself and not try to force him into it. They've been married for three years, you'd think she'd've gotten past that early relationship joined-at-the-hip phase
Imagine he got so guilty on switching and decides to stay on the plane and fulfill her wifes dream and that's why fairy tailes doesn't exist because people are to scared to face reality
@@ElmerGLue Not really true. He could have gotten friends together to do it with her instead of him, or just been super supportive and paid for the trip himself while accompaning her to the airport and waiting at the drop zone with praise. That's what any normal person would do....
Richard straight up lied to his wife’s face …. Great man you are brother. Someone might actually ask her next time rather than you faking the whole situation.
What happens when she sees this video? Edit: Oh I love her reaction to the video on Facebook. She wasn’t mad at all. She was thrilled that they were able to pull it off. She was just excited that she got to finally skydive.
That's pretty much married life in a nutshell isn't it? Lol. A bit of secrets, harmless deceit, sprinkle of exaggeration, and ultimately also wanting your spouse to be happy. 😂
There’s an excellent Argentine TV series (fiction) called “Los simuladores” (2002) and it reminds me of this. A misterious group of people that gathered their abilities to simulate situations for people in order to overcome problems with their marriage, problems with the mob, etc. Great vid Vice!
Here a thing, people who are judging him..... Its your work to do so... Even I am but he is human and if we were to be perfect we wouldn't have had two world wars!!
