Dude, whenever you go off road you need to air down your tires to get more traction, drop the psi down to like 18psi. It widens the tire so you get more traction, almost like drifting
adjust your latch (in the door itself) and the stricker (attached to the door frame) for miatia door to close and latch. latch inside door has to move sloser to the driver seat and the stricker on the frame needs to move further away from the seat. so that they can meet eachother in a zone that is more prudent to grabing eachother when the door is closed.
Remember the rollover with the I believe forester ...lol anytime I hear you ...or see that your going to offroad.... I think of you just rolling lol love the content
Please stop in Chattanooga on your way back and do off road stuff with me in my lifted civic lol. We'll go places you never thought a car could go! And if your car breaks, I got a trailer and a lift in my shop 🙂
Screw the off-road miata give it to anton and buy antons 6.0 and drive it back to Florida. I'm down to see a build series on it. You could have your diesel friends in Florida mill the heads, do headgaskets, studs ,bigger turbo or turbos, injectors etc. For some reason, I so want to see you do a legit diesel build.
Just slap a shed door slide lock on the miata door and all is good……might be best to take them wheels off and slap a standard set of wheels on just to get back to Florida coz that’s gonna shake itself to bits with them big wheels on plus the road noise.
Yee-hawta is such a better name for this car. If it makes the trip to Florida you should turbo it and do an exoskeleton. Thing would be cooler than most side by sides
Next time you go offroading lower your rear tire pressure. You should be able to crawl through rough terrain as long as you're not getting hooked up on anything
Those bearings are probably shot after whacking on it like that fella did. A shop probably would have charged you for like an hour of shop time AT MOST to spend 5 mins with walking to the press then back to the counter to charge you. lol
