Omg lol I just noticed that the mom’s name is sugar so they named the babies after sugar things... Like sugar cube, sugar cane, and sugar cookie. That is super cute!!!
Yeah! At first I thought Cube was a strange name for a puppy lol, especially compared to Cookie and Cane, but then I realized it was because Mom's name was Sugar! 🥰 Super clever names for all 3 pups!
Im fostering for the first time. The mother came from a similar situation, old, exausted, shy and with puppies... Saying goodbye is hard, but while they are here they give you such love, such companionship! Little Tigrilla destroyed half my home and I couldn't get mad at her! Im shocked not more people do this
@Deleto Blue only adopt a dog if you're capable of giving them food shelter and love Unlike the people who abandons dogs because they cant take care of them they should have thinked before they adopted a dog rather than leaving them behind.
Exactly what I thought, she did not want to be a mom again. That's like me having a new born at 50, I wouldn't feel up to it one bit. Also older dogs and cats tend to have smaller litters.
I wish I'd known about that when my senior dog gave birth...one of the puppies were stillborn and I just...thought that was it. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I wanted to just cry. But I knew my dog needed me to be tough so I put the puppy in a shoebox in the cold laundry room to bury him later and helped the mother through the other births. Four puppies lived. We named the deceased one Granite. I already had regrets about everything...and now I regret not knowing that a seemingly stillborn puppy doesn't mean it's really over for them. This was all years ago, 2014, I think. I'm sorry, little Granite, you deserved way better.
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley you did the best you could with what you knew at the time. Guilt sucks but just remember you cared & did what you thought was the right thing. Doesn't make you a bad person but guilt after the fact from lack of information is so hard to get over.
She is precious! ❤️🥺btw the fact that she had to wake up every 2 hours for three to four weeks to make sure they are fed and go to the washroom is pure determination! Absolutely kudos to this woman for helping this dog and her babies! ❤️
AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! PAAAAAIIIINNNN!!!!!! I broke my hand yesterday because of the hate comments I get all the time. I was so angry that I punched a hole in my computer. Please don't hate me, dear tman
This really goes to show how emotionally hard pregnancy, birth, and childrearing are on all mothers. Sugar was so exhausted and depressed. This story really explains how over breeding and not spay/nuetering affects the life of mommas no matter the species. ♡
Uh I totally agree! I adopted a pittbull ok I stole her..no she was my friend's dog! But we just meshed together..she was spayed very early..and everyone thought she was a boy...uh she's wearing a pink sweater ..but seriously spay neuter!
Oh my god Sugar is so sweet! And her puppies are the cutest. This woman is so kind to take care of these dogs. We really need more people like this in the world.
Caring human beings like those 2 people make me smile. I was kind of surprised that senior dog was able to even give birth to her 3 puppies. So adorable 🥰
Those babies would be sooo hard to let go of, because they become part of you forever when you save their lives. What generous, loving people they are. Thank you, The Dodo, for sharing these labors of love and compassion.
Hmm,interesting statement. Well, a lot of people don't speculate about who they're and i don't believe that such a person who does acknowledge in himself will ever give rise. How're you doing today, hope you are still staying safe.
I bottle fed and raised 2 orphan lambs and knew I’d be keeping them. I was asked to just bottle feed and raise 2 more a few years later and then find homes for them..I could not give up my babies ❤️ I now have 4 pet sheep 🥰
I felt the same when my girl had 8.. and some needed extra feeds by me. Was great fun but was exhausting and once they all started running wild round the house and I knew I only had them for one more week I thought..just enjoy this magical time but boy I was relieved when their wonderful humans took them to their forever homes... hahaha. Also.. mom was fed up with them. So from crying about letting them go to sitting with a gin with my girl in the peace and getting photos sent of them in their new homes I knew we done good. And the peace! Hahaha. Still see 5 of them... 3 moved away.
She's lucky that lady was so experienced with puppies. Those puppies wouldn't have made it with someone who didn't know how to get them going at the beginning.
You guys are phenomenal. Your compassion and understanding of the stress Mama Dog was experiencing was on point. Most people just concentrate on the wellbeing of the puppies. You guys just made my week a lot better. Thanks for sharing.😊

Wow, that amazing couple did such a wonderful job! She saved the lives of ALL of those precious babies… the young ones AND the mommy! Thanks to them, and God bless them for all their hard work and love!
Its too bad a certain "community" bred them to be dangerous for so many generations. Once you raise a pit in a caring house they are not dangerous. They become big babies.

Poor Mama... she put all her energy into making sure those pups came out safe and healthy, she had nothing left for herself... she just needed a little help taking care of them!
That's one of the most incredible parts of fostering is being there to help a Mama give birth. I helped a Mama Cat birthing 6 kittens. I'll never forget it.
Awwwweeeee. If I wasn’t in Ontario Canada I would be adopting Sugar! What a beautiful dog! And her eyes tell me so much about her! I can see Sugar has had a hard life! She has had a few different homes and I’m pretty sure someone wasn’t very nice to her. With that said she has so much love and she’s an old soul. Whoever adopts her will be very blessed to have her! She is going to have the best life from this day forward!
Sugar is gorrrrrgeous! You folks are just the most awesome people! I swear, the lengths you went to, to help her puppies thrive is beyond admirable. A truly inspiring story and I wish the best for Sugar and her brood. And many blessings to you for all your hard work and dedication!!
This is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE that ya'll spent time with this dog and helped her along in taking care of these pups. It's people like you that give me faith there is still humanity left in this world. You're amazing people and stories like this always make me smile.
People like this actually give me hope in this messed up world that we live in there still are some good people left in this world even though we're living in the last days God bless anyone who comes across this comment 🛐🙌
You are amazing for doing everything you did to save these puppies at birth. I can't express it enough how amazing you are for your heart and willingness to do this.
Way to go mama. Even being a senior dog it seems as if she had her little puppies & proceeded to take care of them. Thanks to her family for being right there for her.
Wow this lady did so much for these dogs, she is like an angel! I had tears in my eyes when I watched this, especially how she cared for the mama dog and slept next to her, that was amazing and so so kind 💝💖💝
Sugar is so beautiful and so sweet that it would be hard for me to let her go. Her babies turned out absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for loving them and caring for them so well!
Umm these 2 humans are the reason I still.m keep faith the this world can become a better place. I'll keep praying that animals get treated the way they deserve. Thank you guys for being so awesome. Wishing Sugar well and hope she gets the best forever family ❤❤❤
Amazing, truly amazing!!!! You are THE BEST Foster Mom and Dad...God Bless the Mama, babies and how bout a round of applause for that Foster Mom, huh? She deserves it ❤
Thumbs-up and thanks to the "mummy"/"daddy" giving all the love and care from their hearts to look after Sugar and the 3 puppies. Fill with joy to see all of them are in their best of health.

This is just so amazing that this was just a few hours ago and so many people are saving animals almost every day. If the whole world could do that would be amazing and pets won't have to go to a shelter.
Oh, John and Briana are such wonderful people! This brought me to tears. I really did need a boost of knowing how wonderful and loving people can be. Thank you!
Brianna and John are true angels! Thank God there are people like this in the world, this story lifted my heart and made me smile, thanks Dodo for bringing us these amazing videos of all the precious animals.

Sugar Mommy is the sweetest doggie!❤️ and the puppies altogether are just so precious. The foster parents amazed me 👍🤗🙏. I thank you for your devotion, your kindness and your big heart! 🙏🙏🙏
