If anyone wants to follow this as their warm ups and not that flexible like me, ITS PAINFUL. I’m out of strength and sweating af just after the WARMUP please help me- ;-;
The dude been doing that for the Russian team for like 10 years now. He's a professional and whatever you're implying is completely inappropriate. Plus even though he's a guy, it doesn't actually make him automatically attracted to those girls. He can be gay, has a wife at home, etc. so please. The fact that no girls were looking at home or no awkwardness at all just goes to show that's an everyday thing and it's completely non sexual
@@offtothenextadventure2630 I used to do rhythmic gymnastics in Russian when I was little I quit cause of the bullying from the kids and teachers.... :< I wish I didn’t quit.
@Лев Жиглов she/he was saying that those girls had a wonderful oversplit! That's when your legs do 'more' than a split; so basically you do a split that's 'bigger'(?) Than 180° (Sorry for my english)
Yes. Because that's what it takes to reach the level of these performers. (Although I have to admit that that particular coach was more sadistic than usual.)
Yes but only the strongest , most hardworking and most talented gymnasts survived. The ones that live by rhythmic gymnastics, the ones who's passion is rhythmic gymnastics, the ones who can't live a single day without thinking, talking about, And doing rhythmic gymnastics.
I could watch this type of stuff forever. It's like 'reverse psychology' because I realise that these kids have achieved for more in their lives than I probably ever will, ha ha.
don't judge yourself watching the others! You it's you and onyl you. Plus, they're really good in their discipline but this does not imply that their lives are "better" than yours :)
What’s ”achieving” though? Have you seen the other documteraries? They suffer serious physical and mental abuse from their coaches. No childhood whatsover. Their weight is checked constantly and they are on a diet with very few calories despite the many hours of extreme training for hours and hours every day. What is a gold medal worth seriously? And a moment of fame? A couple of these girls get a gold medal at the Olympics. The rest of them are considered failures by everyone including themselves. They fear to get kicked out of the team if they don’t perform perfectly. There is no life for them outside the sport to go back to. Have you seen how preassured the girls look at the competitions and that they hardly show happiness, just relief when they perform well? I am sure they also destroy their bodies for life. And an injury and their carreer is over. They are told by their coaches that they let their entire country down if they don’t train and perform perfectly. Seriously, would a gold medal at the Olympics make anybody happy except for a short moment? They have fame for a little while and then they are too old to go on and other girls take over. I used to be the best in my country in one particular sport. A super talent who never made it in the end due to injuries and the fact that I eventually couldn’t cope with the mental pressure. I ended up with eating disorders like so many of these girls as their diet is very restrictive. My goal was also a gold medal at the Olympics. And not making it ruined my self esteem completely. My whole identity was being good at the sport. I assure you the going up is NOT worth the going down. The short feeling of winning a gold medal, serously what is that worth? Isn’t other things way more important? A genuine self esteem based on who you are as a person as opposed to what you perform?
YES YES YES!!! I danced professionally and if you watch at 27:30 she demonstrates how to pull up with the thigh and use the hip for turnout. This is how you avoid injury-she also goes on from there to demonstrate when the leg is lifted above the head to use the hip on the standing leg and be aware of hip placement. If you watch their barre everyone is working from the hip there is no cheating to get the leg higher or cutting corners which leads to injury. I nearly fell on the floor it is very hard to find teachers who teach correctly in the U.S.A. 90 percent do not!
dumbolddoor this is actually Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics which is ballet mixed with gymnastics and apparatus handling so the ballet stuff is very relevant
Pablo Russian rhythmic gymnastics is the same as any other rhythmic gymnastics. In general, rhythmic gymnastics is dance merges with gymnastics and they use different apparatus
Warm ups really depends on what sport you do. For more elegant dancers like rhythmic gymnasts they use bar as a warm up. Doing splits to warm up the hamstrings, tendus to warm up the feet, etc.
I’m was a artistic gymnast and we would do splits, lounges, walks on the beam circles on the uneven bar and flips, backhand springs, and leaps on floor😊
I don't think so, my warm-up (I'm a rhythmic gymnast too) usualny takes 1,5 hour... But this is before the competition, so I guess that's why it's shorter
no, what you say is not correct. My nation's team is the first in the world, yet each of the girls who are part of it has never had to undergo these tortures. the victory is obtained not with the alienating training but with the strength of will and passion.
I am pretty sure, they only do that training. No extra visit to the gym with lifting weighs. I've heard it was common in other countries like the United States (that's also the reason why many american ballerinas look a bit bulky)
+dethmilk actual gymnasts? What a foolish, ignorant, and disrespectful thing to say. You clearly meant artistic gymnasts...not "actual" ya damn fool. Rhythmic gymnasts are still gymnasts and what they do is incredibly difficult. Stop.
Karen Santos they go through an arduous system of measuring and assentiments as young girls in Russia. They only choose this prescribed model of a gymnast. In the USA we celebrate that everyone has her weakness and strengths. USA can out tumble them all as we allow the muscular gymnast to evolve. The Russians are usually better on bars as their measurements require the arms are longer.
I love watching this video because i like gymnastic...and my dream..i want to be bellarina...thanks for this video..it give me motivation and i apreciate it..
Im a ballet dancer and all of their Warm up exercises is what we are doing too. The same démi round and grand battement exercises for example. I used to think that they are doing different exercises than ballett dancera
Why ísn't there a bar on the wall for the streching? The chair is complaining... I mean, you could make in foldable. You just put it up and away for practice by the barr.
Mariana Ramos where you’re an athlete, you shower probably almost every day because you exercise nearly every day. so, that’s when you shave. maybe every day. every two days. every three.
i dance and from the constant exercise i shower every day (i come home late so i shower at like 11ish) and i shave about once a week but after a while it just comes ea natural to shave so often lol
