@@sagichnichtsowiesonicht7326 There is a number of anime girls that would do just that. Of course none at Hitagi level, no one reaches that high in the waifu business.
Wait. Does that mean after the first bonk he was like: nope nothing wierd is happening *second bonk* totally nothing *tenth bonk* just senjougahara dialed it up to 11 for some reason. Guess I'll just faint at 20
@@quankhanh8533 I haven't read it myself but the assumption would be he would shout in pain, she would hit him even harder, it would knock him down, and she would just beat the sh"t out of his skull while he is writhing on the ground. And somewhere in there someone says or thinks of something really snarky/sarcastic. Which is a really funny image in my head.
@@haruhirogrimgar6047 in the book, he fainted in the first bonk. But she hit her 20 timed anyway to make sure Though, I take it that as a joke, just like when she said she poisoned him in this clip
In a sense, she's not wrong... When your boyfriend whom you really loved keeps on getting involved in life threatening incident, you only have 2 or maybe 3 choice... ~support him like a good heroine ~stop him and keep him safe in Gahara style ~ignore and left
In this instance, her reaction was actually unjustified given the context of the arc itself. Nothing that happened in the arc would have resulted in Araragi being placed in mortal danger nor was anyone he knew in any kind of position where lasting harm would have come to them.
@@BobNinjaCat well yeah but... It's about her feelings, and sorry I already forgotten which arc this scenes from but still, not all girls will just support her lover doing dangerous things, especially because this isn't his job or anything, you know the "worried" part, the "what ifs" negative thoughts and it's quite normal to be worried especially when she's on his side watching But well, it's Gahara san anyway, so...
Senjougahara is one of those characters I fell in love with the moment I saw her. From her great VA (as the series points out) that can talk about anything in the same calm, relaxed yet somehow sexy voice to the way she acts that's unique to her (can't describe her as a "insert blank"- dere, it takes at least 3 types to even begin describing her) and how she says Araraki-kun (wish it was my name). Then you watch the show and read the LN and find out her tragic backstory and see her growth throughout the series and you appreciate her even more. So many great characters in this series.
@@alistairfernandes7422 I recommend the airing order as well. The flow of ideas is smoother and easier to understand and makes much more sense that way. The author himself chose to publish it that way too
This show is supposed to be a parody, comedy series. If dark, sexual humour is something you don't enjoy than you should stay away from this franchise.
1:47 I didn't understand at the time, but gosh I wish I watched evangelion before monogatari, because this is actually hilarious the way he points out it's an evangelion reference😂
@@yoman7873 in reality Ecchi have nothing to with it. Monogatari is one of those few series where fanservice serve it's characters. The scene is sexual because it's literally a foreplay that both enjoy but rather than actually showing the sex scenes like in any normal romance. What Nishio and Shaft do it's letting you inside the mind of the protagonists to imagine what it would like but without actually presenting any of it. It's why even with all the scene with nudity the toothbrush scene is the most erotic of all because it's the only that go direct to the point while holding a gun at your temp to make you uncomfortable. Second scene most sexual it's the quiz about topping on foods between Senjougahara and Hanekawa since that scene illustrate why one is the girlfriend and why the other is seen as lust for. It's the clever way it put things into perspective to actually show what was there but that you don't see it. If anything about Ecchi I say it don't deserve the tag since it's actual Ecchi scene are a letdown while his most erotic scene everyone is clothed.
It's insane how good the entire monagatari series is yet also the hardest to try and recommend; It requires understanding/accepting many tropes that modern anime fans would reject it for.
@@majin5961 That is essentially how the series started. Now he is weakened most of this series, but he has eluded that he cannot play fight with his sisters because he would end up hurting them accidentally. Basically right after this scene ends, someone mentions his sister may be in trouble. He breaks the chains and goes to help her.
guys i have something to say if u dont understand Japanese language truly well, dont watch too early. This anime is from novel so it is sometimes impossible to translate 100%
@@saturnna467 It is packed full of rhymes, alliterations, and puns. Think of something like Shakespeare where words often have multiple meaning, while rhyming, with puns every other sentence. It is something which can't really be translated without losing a lot of that extra meaning, rhyming, and flow. Just listen sometimes and you can hear in the audio them rhyming 7 different things in a sentence, where the subtitles barely shows it.
@@Michaelonyoutub hmm I see, I can’t imagine how much more interesting it would be if you understood Japanese, I’ve always heard the word play in Japanese is insane, but I can’t really understand that ya kno, thanks for the insight!
@@samiraguirre9387 she's a simp for araragi too. Imagine having a boyfriend that goes out with 5 different girls and has a crush in one different than his girlfriend 🤡🤡🤡
If I could say anything about this, it would be the atmosphere of the room in this scene While they talking before Senjougahara shows the bottle, the room is a bright blue After the ambient changed to bright red, a nostalgic BGM starts to play Shaft sure is playing a lot with every scene in this series, and it's so unique that I love every single detail I notice The series is probably their favorite child
This anime is so messed up hahahaha! But what I like about is that side of the MC together with his Vampire partner that he vowed to her that they will die together. That's why he can't abandone Kissshot eventhough she wants to die.
A story that is 90% dialog, has basically the budget of the coolest action anime, so the animators went crazy, inserting crazy animations, angles, backgrounds, and art everywhere. It is also helped by the dense fast dialog ramping up the tension keeping the plot moving at breakneck paces sometimes.
The funniest thing about this whole scene is the fact that Araragi has super strength. At any point, he could've broken those chains with very little effort. Man really just wanted to be dom'd by Senjoughara and honestly, who wouldn't?
Me seeing a scene of a guy being kidnapped and humiliated by a girl "wow that's fucked up, id hate it if something like this happened to me" people in the comments: perfect girl me: ????????????????????????
You have to watch the show in order to get at least some context. Monogatari series is confusing as hell when you watch random scenes without context, but it makes complete sense once you watch and analyze it.
dhoisdfljasHKL:FWE;LKHFSAFS OMG SHE SAID EVANGELION REFERENCE LETS GOOO SHE CAN CHAIN ME UP AND DO ALL THAT TO ME LMAOOO IS THAT JUST ME OR AM I WEIRD?
