Man, I can't wait for Nademonogatari adaptation. While I always loved Nadeko, she is really blooming in Nade, going through a beautiful development on her path to be a better person she always was and finally pursuing her dream, finally living her own life.
@@kenzacharyrodriguez2591 She was just so self-destructive & delusional, antisocial, ect. it was scarily realistic (well as realistic monogatari can get)
Lol I know how u feel, I finished the series two days ago for the first time and I feel like rewatching the whole series. I jus miss it too much. Maybe in the near future!
"You won't be at the top tier unless you believe in your talent. Otherwise you won't have anything to keep you going when you can't put in any more effort. People with only effort will become disheartened when they can no longer put in that effort." This is actually something that I can relate with in a way. There were times that I felt very confident about my talent or intelligence and I was able to be more successfull than others even though I put much less effort than them. If I didn't believe in myself and instead thought I can't be successful or I don't deserve to be successful just because I didn't have enough time or motivation to put more effort in that thing, I wouldn't be able to success. There were also times that I felt so unconfident about myself and I messed it up and there were other people that were more successful than me even though they put less effort than me. Thanks to Monogatari series I am now able to realise how important it is to believe in yourself. I mean you hear the saying "believe in yourself" everywhere but only Monogatari series along with my own experience were able to make me realise its importance.
Man. I've spent the whole spring season drawing a comic for a contest. Haven't been sleeping at night, wasn't being able to focus on anything else. It had affected my freelance job and mental state, but I was doing it because I always wanted to tell stories. In the end though, because it was my first time making a project with a tight deadline + covid, I messed it up completely. I really hate it now, I hate myself and I regret wasting my time on it. All three months of working on it were horrible. On the other hand, it was one of the biggest experiences for me that will certanly help me in the future. This clip hits too close to home. The "I just do what I want to do, no matter how unsighty or embarrassing it is" part made me feel better. Thank you very much for uploading.
Don´t know man; but i think that working very hard in a project where you put your soul, you put everything you have in it to make it possible, is something very admirale. Keep it, i am sure you will make a good comic in the future.
Funny thing is that i just finished the monogatari series second season, and i just found out she has her birthday today too haha. I really liked how she was able to finally listen to someone and make a little progress herself, kaiki is best girl after all, seriously tho he gave some good life advice right there lol. I hope she can actually accomplish her dream and become a manga artist :) . Happy birthday Nadeko!
That´s the good thing about Nisio, man; in Hanamonogatari Karen comments that Tsukihi has been taking things very seriously, like she were in a rush; and Karen thinks it is strange, because Tsuki has always acted like she had all the time in the world. Great Nisio, showing hints 3 or 4 novels before.
@Finn Jager Have we seen her age progressing though? Karen grew quite a bit from hat I can tell, but Tsukihi? Looks the same from her debut to her last appearance from what I can tell. I'd assume she grows up at least, but how she will be aging from that point on, we cannot be sure about.
Well, Tsukihi being immortal doesn't mean she's gonna live forever, the Shide no Tori is, not her, although she's technically that bird. Tsukihi is immortal the sense that nothing can kill her. Tsukihi is simply gonna live a fully normal human lifespan, then the Shide no Tori will take on a new life.
Tsukihi's hair stand up as soon as she hears Nadeko calls Araragi Koyomi-oni-chan to "Koyomi-san". AFAIR,Tsukihi knows that Nadeko has feelings to her brother. Tsukihi maybe childish but she is perceptive to people around her.
she notices it with a hair nod, but doesn't ask Nadeko about it. Maybe she's happy Nadeko finally moved on from hiding herself, and that realisation had to be done by distancing herself from araragi. As much as he wants to help, there are so many girls who became better after taking distance from him, Nadeko, but also Hanekawa for exemple. Feelings are complicated.
Sure, still calling him by his name but that’s enough, she’s still close to him anyway but now it’s different Edit: Well, now analyzing the context, it made sense to call him by his name because she was talking about Tsukihi’s siblings
Hachikuji said she might cut it because she went through and identify crisis when she realized snails actually have 4 antenna, but never did it. Yotsugi had short hair for all of 20~ minutes in Nademonogatari 🤣
That reminds me. "Might have a talent" huh... Well, there's two at very least - drawing and creation. I wonder what Gaen will ask Nadeko to do with later.
Your post is already a spoiler, but just in case someone still attack me for it, SPOLER ALERT Didn't ononoki say that she wanted to make her a specialist?
@@achmadardi8412 Well, SPOILERS ahead then... I don't remember about making her specialist exactly, but yes her ability was tested at beginning and at the end, purposely. I remember Ononoki saying that while Nadeko improving her drawing skills she may actually get a job and wants to introduce her to Gaen. So it made an impression that Gaen will just use Nadeko's ability for her own purposes. I don't think Nadeko would want to actually be a specialist. Should I delete my previous post then? Or maybe leave it so people might get curious enough to read Nade? Doesn't look like anime adaptation will happen any time soon. Maybe in 4-5 years minimum.
@@One-EyedDragon no, actually the last sentence of nademonogatari is that she said that she has two options, one being a manga artist and one being a specialist. One of the messages from nade is that you should not give your all to one purpose, but you also need to live your life and consider another option that come along, I think. Well, it's minor, I think you don't have to
@@achmadardi8412 Ah, yes, it was sentence before very last one. Nadeko basically said that thanks to Ononoki she has two possible paths now - manga artist or specialist. However it is what Nadeko said. Ononoki mostly was talking about giving a job, so that's what I was wondering about in my first post - what kind of job will it be? Nadeko still wants to pursue being manga artist the most, but she now have a backup plan. And the way she said that implies that she isn't focused on one purpose alone anymore, which is good. Nadeko since Kaiki's talk pretty much understood that focusing on only one purpose was stupid. At beginning of Nade she was sort of wondering what else she could possibly do. So at the end she got this "job" option. Since it's only Nadeko (unless I forgotten certain sentences, been a while) mentioned about being specialist, I'm not sure if Gaen would legit make her specialist or just use her talent for a price.
Someone needs to explain to Nisio Isin that there are other ways for a girl to show character development besides cutting her hair. Even if it does make more sense in context this time...
