Come on guys 36 views and only 8 likes, we all know that pressing the like button will help grown the channel. Any channel i take the time to watch i always hit the like button. This channel should be growing at a faster rate, let's take the time to show our appreciation of the work/time/dedication it takes to produce these videos.....just my humble opinion 🤔
I really enjoy your content but given the fact I live in a suburb of NYC and primarily take public transportation I spend an extraordinarily small amount of time in my vehicle. This begs the question “why in the hell do I watch car audio oriented videos?”; the answer is because I am VERY interested in DSP in respect to home audio and therefore I am always looking for affordable DSP hardware for use in my home setup. Going forward if you could spend a few minutes speaking about how to best utilize whatever DSP you are reviewing in a home audio setup it would be VERY much appreciated! Note: My comment is certainly not a criticism but rather a request for a favor! At the end of the day, you have an excellent channel……..keep up the good work!
DSP in home audio is mostly EQ work and crossover if you're into bi/tri-amping. TA capability is mostly unused until you're getting into multi channel home theatre setup
Hey man thanks for your video! I bought the DP-X10 as my first DSP to tinker around for the first time! For anyone wondering about the input selection, look under the channel numbers in the software: IN1=FL, IN2=FR, IN3=RL, IN4=RR. When using a stereo source (e.g. Bluetooth), only the L or R part of the name is relevant. I'm also writing a program that will allow me to inport AutoEQ values on there automatically because ain't no way I'm going to write 744 values by hand 😅
@@RAW-CAt Well if i can get my hands on an Alpine unit I would gladly check if I could make it work but tbh it's not really a priority right now haha... I'll keep an eye on the classifieds!
It’s apparently designed to go in behind the factory radio or glovebox or under the driver seat im going to 3D print a few brackets and use 2 of the heat sink fins to clamp a back it on and screw the dsp down
Interesting. I have the H-612 version, and I'm wondering how it performs. Also, does anyone know if it's possible to set up differential rear fill and how to achieve this?
Okay, I commented on you're newest alpine dsp video about Sennuopu and someone pointed out you actually did a comparison in which I asked possibly if you could do. I was hoping it would be of one of thier better units. This is one of thier bottom of the line units. I wonder if they would send you one of thier top units. And I was disappointed you didn't test the optical, of which I would be using in any dsp I end up getting, will be important I think.
I will be testing the optical as I was waiting for some gear. Unfortunately the DSP was sent by a person who bought it. No companies send me stuf really, just individuals.
I had one, it had very strong background hiss that was unbearable, no matter the installation. It was a 2 month process almost daily sending messages to manufacturer to refund my money after I sent the dsp back, ended up losing 1/3 of the price and losing best of summer waiting. Just a thing to keep in mind..
I am loading all 4 channels with 4ohm static load. The problem is with my measuring equipment. When I connect the probe to audio interface, the amp shuts off. If I disconnect it it turns back on again. There is some ground issue..
@@n.shiina8798 I don't use a dedicated ground and that is my mistake I think. This week I will be receiving different measuring gear so will do it properly.
@@RAW-CAt oh, i looked into the spec sheet, it says 50W RMS. i personally think this DSP is using bridge mode to achieve high power without having DC-DC conversion. this is probably why it went into protection since both + and - were live, no actual ground
Why would it need to show more than 1 input ? Most dsp only use 1 set of rcas and all adjustments are done thru the app. You looose all fading the balance features on the most I’ve seen but that’s a small price to pay for all the cool features
Even the usb and and android software is already way ahead of my 3k zapco hdsp-v 16 as far as packaging and presentation 😂 Fit and finish is better too, zapco has sharpish finished edges etc it's not really sharp just not rounded and nice in my honest opinion. Ok my zapco audio and remote is far superior lol bang for buck though this goes ok.
DP X10 is the worst dsp from sennuopu. It has already been measured by several russian bloggers. It has an issue wirh clipping over spdif. Dp X11 doesn't have this. I have DP-X12, which is their top, the sound is rather good. Based on the measurements it has 112 db SNR ratio, which is quite high for such a device
So which would you recommend ? I’m glad im seeing this video and your comment because I’ve been on fence about this AliExpress dsp and the puzu brand. ?
Also, would you say it's worth returning the nakamichi to get this instead? Or is the difference not that much that I should continue and install the nak since it's already here
@@SonyFoLifedont go for x10. It has issue with clipping over optical input. X11 doesn't have it. But the most interresting is x12, i have it and it's great. It has 8*50W + 2*120w into 4 ohms. Very clean 112 db snr. You can search youtube for russian vlogger measurements
Yea most people wont be using optical or the internal amplifier on the x10 most people would do High level in and then the 8ch rca out this guy just did the distortion test so clearly it doesn’t clip on RCA out there wasn’t that much distortion I’ve seen a video Like what your explaining and doesn’t seem to tell the hole story with in the video do you own one personally because I haven’t had an issue with my DP-X10 and for $128USD it’s pretty good quality sound for the price
